As the group grows the authors connect will become longer and more complicated. So that we can all connect on Twitter (If you wish)post solely your Twitter address here. I will the paste it into the list below. Then if you wish you can just copy the list in one hit. If this proves successful I will start another for Facebook page likes etc.I will delete your post as soon as list updated. Also for ease of keeping up I will date additions

Hey all,

Just a quick note. How you handle your Twitter account is of course your own business. Just be aware that even in a community such as this folks will follow you to get the follow back and then unfollow. Personally not my thing but each to their own.

If you are unaware great tools such as justunfollow.com exist.

Apologies for this post but I noticed it yesterday and woke up to a DM from another member regarding it.

Erren Wolf (errengreywolf) | 18 comments I've got Justunfollow.com and it is very useful for unfollowing those who don't follow you. Twitter has a limit of 2000 follows. Once you hit that limit, you cannot follow anymore until you get more followers, but how can you get more followers without following more people? Justunfollow.com allows you to get rid of the UNfollowers so you can follow more people. But after you reach that 2000 limit, you can still only follow at 10% increments and you cannot follow more than 250 people each day. Just for your FYI.

Robin Morgan (robinleighmorgan) I'm been using JustUnfollow for almost a year. It's not only great to delete unfollowers but to check to see who you haven't returned a following to. A slight downside to it is that you're limited on the number of deletions of non-followers each day [25] for the free planm but if you upgrade to a pay plan you've got unlimited unfollowers. There's a lot of other great functions there to which can help you monitor your Twitter accont.

here' my Twitter.

Who must remember to give the complete URL @_________ just works within Twitter to Tweet or send a Direct Message another person on Twitter

Elise Valente | 9 comments I use manageflitter.com to see who I follow that isn't following me back. I use it all the time, because I'm not on Twitter just to up someone's numbers. ManageFlitter has been great, and I'd recommend it too for anyone wanting to monitor their follows/unfollows.

Hey, everyone!! My time is spread out between too many different projects and tasks, so I don't have the time to go in and click each link to follow it. That does NOT mean I don't want to follow you, it just means sitting there clicking and following each link takes away from the two blogs I work, the street team I'm part of, the book I'm reviewing, the books I'm writing, the promoting that I'm doing, the updating and monitoring of this group, plus real life butting in with obligations...it's just not feasible. Please, if you'd like a follow, follow me and I'll follow back. If you've followed me and I haven't followed back yet, I may have missed it in my email, send me a message on here or on Twitter!

Thanks so much, folks!! You're the best. <3

Tony Gilbert (tonygilbert8) Consider yourselves all followed :-)

I have to ask, why is it such a big deal that people who you choose to follow, do not follow you? The people who I follow, I do so because I am interested in what they say.

Couldn't agree more. I don't think that follow backs should be automatic. I don't expect everyone here to follow me - but my link is there in case anyone does find my tweets entertaining :)

message 24: by Elise (new)

Elise Valente | 9 comments Why is it important? First off, this is a group of people who are supposed to be supporting each other. Following people back is the polite thing to do. Twitter numbers are a huge deal for exposure, believe it or not, and to not follow back implied you're just sharing your twitter handle to up your numbers rather than support your fellow group members.

I personally follow back any author, artist, etc. who follows me because I understand we all struggle for exposure, and it's one way I can give back and help out the indie creative community. Other follows I follow back at my discretion.

Echoing Elise's sentiments entirely, plus the ability to retweet and promote each others blogs and books is paramount. You never know where the next buy click is coming from.

Afternoon, or wherever you are Morning/evening. I am happy to retweet anyone on here; book links or Blog links. If you want it retweeted add #AHAG and I will look for it when I jump on. If we all work together then we can splash our group over Twitter. Whilst not being annoying or spamming. If you are looking for readers or writers to follow or follow back look down my list there are some really great people there.

Personally I mainly tweet rubbish so I won't be offended if you don't reciprocate!!! @Super_Tommo

I have followed all direct twitter links on here. Don't know how to find those that have @ as not a direct link. Not that good at it. I was pleased to see a lot of these links were related to my genre, fantasy. Hope some of you get a minute to follow me back. Cheers
