Help combining/deleting an author profile

I'm guessing what happened was someone created this book and misspelled Condie, because there's an author named Ally Condir with the same book as Ally Condie. I tried to combine the authors, but it says Condie has control over her own page. How do I fix this? Is there a way to just delete Ally Condir?
