My name is Todd (found on Amazon as TW Brown) and I write horror (mostly). While zombies are my main thing, I am branching out with a horror/comedy titled 'That Ghoul Ava'. Most of my zombie stuff can be a bit rough, I do not paint humanity in the most flattering light (according to some) but I try to focus on a character-rich approach that is more about the people and less about the monsters (human or zombie).

I'm an ex-alt fashion and lifestyle journalist who spends their time now consumed by their involvement in "The Penny Dreadful Experiment". This is essentially a research experiment about indi publishing where we give away my novel piece by piece and analyze the culture/data/experiences of a completely unknown writer debuting their first book without using the Writer->Agent->Publisher model.


I studied English literature with a focus on Gothic era and Victorian feminist lit and now I write dark fiction about monsters and and creatures in a struggle with their own identities and humanity. This is likely the result of too much Le Fanu and Poe.

You probably shouldn't read my books to your kids.

I'm also incredibly eager to network with indi authors of all genres if they want to share data and stories that might otherwise help contribute to the experiment. Feel free to add me as your friend here and share with me your tips, horror stories, etc.

TV shows? I enjoy watching Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Spongbob Squarepants.

I'm also a gamer gal. Whenever I'm not writing my sci-fi-fantasy series Cascade Adventures, I'm either connecting with readers on the internet, or playing video games. My all-time favorite game is Kingdom Hearts.

Movies? I enjoy Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield, rawr^_^), The Avengers, the Outsiders, Ghost, The Sixth Sense, The Secret, and DISNEY (you're never too old for Disney, despite the fact that I will be turning 16 in a few weeks).

I have recently self-published my mystery novel, Killer Rumors. The purpose of writing this novel was to inform the public that priests will always be under the microscope.
