Brenda (brendareads) Stopping by to say hello, I'm mostly an avid reader of anything I can get my hands on (although I'm more critical of romance), so I love the premise of this group. :)

Also, Pottermore is mean to me.

Robert Costelloe (rcostelloe_dot_com) | 1 comments Hi, my name is Rob and I am an author who has not been very active here on the site. I have two titles that were print published by Saga Books in 07 and 08, then I stopped writing fiction in favor of judging, reviewing, and nonfiction pursuits. Last year I decided to rewrite both my novels to make them better for readers, but gosh, it took seven months--much longer than I anticipated. Both second edition books were digitally self-published in January. I'd like some feedback on how successful the rewrite was from a reader standpoint.

Barbara Cerny (barbara_cerny) | 13 comments Hello! My name is Barb Cerny. I have written four novels in four years: three are historical romances and one a fantasy romance. I have two in editing right now, the sequel to the fantasy romance and a dark fantasy. I am currently working on three more - a modern murder mystery, a biography, and another historical romance. On top of this, I work full time, have two kids and a husband, folk dance, ballroom dance, sing in the choir, do mission work with the youth group, and somehow find time to sleep. Writing is my PASSION. Always wanted to write but life got in the way. I wrote the first one at the ripe old age of 45 which proves it is NEVER too late. Just do it! Please check me out at http://barbaratcerny.com/ . I am more than happy to provide eBooks to folks who would like to review them!

Chrystal, NEVER give up. You have been on a little hiatus, that is all. Go with your heart always, even if it isn't always possible to enact upon it immediately. Your time will come. Write that story in your head over and over again and when the time to put it on paper comes, you will be ready for it. That is how it happened for me at 45 years old. The book rumbling around in me for nearly 30 years was finally able to be written. Thus, Of Angels and Orphans was born. https://www.allromanceebooks.com/prod... . Barb

Hey everyone! I'm Maria Dee and I've just published my second book (contemporary fantasy, paranormal) on amazon called ENDECA. It's part of a series. The first book is called ESCAPISM, and it's available for only 0.99 cents. ) I would love to get some reviews from all you amazing readers! Is there anyone who would be willing to do a review for my books?

A university student, Xenia decides to devote all her time to some serious soul searching, literally. Along her shocking path to self realization, the first strange thing Xenia discovers is she’s a Diplozoe. She meets Nicholas, a Diplozoe who guides her at a popular nightclub, Styx into a mystical transitory world, a mortal portal between two worlds where the souls of the living and dead intermingle. The second strange thing is Nicholas is part dead…
The third strange thing is she's in love. Leave it to Xenia to fall for a dead guy.

Two travelers seek out Xenia for guidance. There’s a problem though. Something or someone is hindering her awakening…

Shanti Krishnamurty | 2 comments Hi, everyone! I'm Shanti, a stay-at-home mom of two boys (15 and 12), home educator, part-time college student and newly published author. In other words, my life is crazy hectic, but I honestly wouldn't want it any other way. I love all the aspects of my life, even though teaching a teenager isn't something I would have chosen if I didn't think it was to his best benefit.

I love to read YA, paranormal, fantasy and some mystery. About the only romance I will read is historical. My favorite authors of all time are Mercedes Lackey, Marian Zimmer Bradley and Ray Bradbury.

I'm looking forward to being part of this group and reviewing some amazing reads :)

T. Diaz (tallendiaz) | 2 comments Cindy wrote: "Hello, my name is Cindy...

Cindy, It took me twelve years to get Procythian Reign published. And that was not my first attempt at writing. So, never give up, if it's something you really like. It is my experience that certain aspects of writing get easier with practice...others do get harder. But it's a lot of fun and worth it.

Christie«SHBBblogger» (shbbblogger79) Hey everyone! I am a book lover who reads daily. Anything romance but I read any sub-genre of that. Although I have kind of drifted away from historicals for the most part. My favorites are YA/NA, Contemporary, and Erotic. I would love the opportunity for more ARCs to review.

message 97: by Kim BookJunkie (new)

Kim BookJunkie ~ Editor & Proofreader (kimbookjunkie) Hi! My name is Kim, I am 37 years old and live in San Diego, CA. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) yet have not worked for a 3 years now due to a neck injury. As time goes on and I become more accepting of my new, sedentary life of chronic pain, I have finally been able to identify 1 positive aspect of my situation.... I have much more time to read!

I have always loved to read. If you asked me a year ago what I liked to read I would have said romance, chick-lit, psychological thrillers, memoirs, and more. I don't know exactly what happened but for almost a year now, all I want to read is EROTIC fiction! 50 Shades of Grey was definitely the catalyst because ever since I read those books, I have been eager to explore what else is out there. So far I know I do enjoy reading explicit, erotic stories with BDSM, ménages, m/m, f/f, m/f and every other combination! I am not afraid of taboo topics (I am actually hoping your authors can, "get my eyes dirty")! I still do love a good romance (even if it is not explicit) as long as I can fall in love with the characters and their love story. Books written by Danielle Steel and Fern Michaels did intrigue me when I was 12 years old but I no longer care for these types of books at all. I do still enjoy biographies and memoirs but I am not into anything historical or nonfiction. I enjoy reading about people who have endured trauma, abuse, drug addiction, alcoholism, prostitution, etc. The more taboo and strange the better!

I think that's enough about me! I look forward to seeing you all around in the group and learning more about you too!

I guess you can say jack of all trades and a master being a wife, mother, Grandmother and have enjoyed all of my 75yrs. Interest are beading, knitting, crochet, walking, and of course reading. I'm not a deep reader I read for the entertainment of the story. I enjoy everything for Nora Roberts to Christine Feehan and many more authors. I have a nook and love to share. Well enough is enough. Hope you enjoy a good book. Donna Jo
