Dead to the World
question
Do you think Eric should have stayed like a lost puppy, or do you prefer the fiery Eric that loves control?

As much as I do love the origional Eric, I can't help but sigh at what's to become of their relationship in the last book. What are your thoughts?

I like Sookie and Eric being together but really do prefer the real Eric. He obviously loves her and even though i'm sad that the books are coming to an end I can't wait to find out what happens
I started to get annoyed with the lost puppy Eric. He was getting too clingy. Although his normal personality is a little too controlling and overboard for me. He needs a happy medium.
I like them both, I love how he showed his softer side when he became a mental case, but I do also love his donimeering, protective and intimidating side too. I love a bad boy. Even if they're not good for you.
I really liked the clash of emotions Eric experienced after he regained his memory. The predator Eric remembering all the innocent and pure feelings he held for her caused such a strange battle for him and made him all the more vulnerable emotionally.
I liked the mind-wiped Eric, but I liked the conflicted Viking Eric more afterward.

I love the controlling Eric. He is up in your face and you cant do anything about it!! I find it way attractive!!
I love the cocky and arrogant Eric. But you also know there is that soft and loving Eric inside too.
He is much sexier as controlling Eric.

I second Christine's comment. The lost puppy Eric was endearing and great for a surprise twist...for a brief time. But after a while, it was just getting to be too much. Eric the Viking god is much more fiery and interesting. Yes, I have a thing for bad boys.
Prefer controlling Eric.
The books were much better than how it was portrayed in True Blood, esp. The scene where Eric and Sookie get iton in the shower.
