yeah & long overdue for me. my husband reads sci-fi and my mom reads historical romance. no one I know reads horror :(

Randy, Have you tried some of the sites that are supposed to have a feed of all free books in the category? I don't recall the exact link, but I know I've seen a few... I don't know why I never signed up for that, since horror isn't the only genre I try to keep an eye on.
Most of the sites that list free books shut down on April 1st when Amazon changed their associates policy. The one that I use as part of making up my list is:http://www.freebooksifter.com/
...but they've been kind of flaky lately.

It's amazing what a difference there is between socializing on Facebook and Goodreads. Facebook, where it should be interactions with friends, turns out to be sadly shallow and disatisfying, then on Goodreads, with a bunch of "strangers", you get to have some really amazing conversations.
