wouldn't workbut

yes
Also, question about #1...my first language is Spanish so I would have to read a book originally written in another language (let's say Polish, LOL!) and then translated to Spanish?

Thanks, Aleksandra. So the 'something' must be a physical thing? Like in the other two, the titles are in yellow but there are also physical things like the police tape and the yellow ball.

yes, D.G. I will ask moderators to change in task.
Want to make sure I understand this. Would both of these work, or only The Yellow House because the house is yellow?

My native language is Kannada - that's an Indian language. So any book written in English should do for option 1, am I right?

I just won an advance uncopyedited edition of The Rule of Evil and the Mask on the site. And was wondering if it qualified for option 1. It doesn't say it was originally written in Japanese, but the blurb says it is the author's second book to be available in English translation.

I'm going to create a task for the first time. I'm so thrilled and I hope you'll enjoy choosing books for this task. 9 years ago I moved to England from Poland to be an au pair. I didn't plan to stay in England forever but life is full of surprises. Over here I met my husband who is Iranian, we married and we have two naughty boys but my life is pretty messed up ;) We have three languages at home (English, Polish and Farsi), three different cuisines, different styles of life, different religions and every day we learn something new about each other.
For this task let's mess up a little and at the same time learn something new.
Read one book:
1. I read books mostly in English which is not my native language. Read a book originally written in a different language than your own.
For example : if my native language is Polish I could read a book originally written in English and if your native language is English you could read book which was originally written in Spanish, Japanese, Russian, etc.
Required : State the original language of the book
2. March 21 is Persian New Year (Nowruz). To celebrate this day, read a book set in Iran/ Persia , this list can help Books Set in Iran OR written by Iranian author (by birth or residence) like Azar Nafisi, Kader Abdolah, Shirin Ebadi, Jasmin Darznik
3. March 21 is also the first day of Spring. To celebrate this day, read a book with something yellow on the cover. Yellow titles and/or text are EXCLUDED.
.
Required :Please include the cover in your post
4. Being chosen to create this task made me very happy and sleepless at the same time. Read a book of your choice that promises sleepless night or simply makes you happy
Required: Please identify the option
