I like this answer but I would like to be able to avoid waiting. Get where I got to go with out "waiting" will standing, driving, sitting.

message 4: by Bobbi (new)

Bobbi (bobbichukran) Time travel. I want to go back and watch myself as a child, to see how I acted, things I said, what I did. When I watch kids in restaurants and such, I wonder, how was I when I was that age? Weird, I know. LOL.

Mrs Gibbs: At least, choose an unimportant day. choose the least important day in your life. It will be important enough.

Thanks and a great nod to one of my mentors: Thornton Wilder

Hmm. I want to be able to tesser. We do a lot of long road trips, and sometimes I get pretty tired of driving!

That's a good one! My kids and always talk about "wrinkling time."

message 8: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) I'd love to be able to transform myself into other animals, a la' The Invasion et al. For example, when wanted to get somewhere fast I could fly like a hawk, or when I wanted to be invisible I could be a chameleon.

J.Y. | 19 comments Teleportation. Whoever said "getting there is half the fun" obviously never went on family trips. :-p

message 10: by Krystalyn (new)

Krystalyn Drown | 10 comments I second teleportation! I get too restless sitting in a car. After a long day, I would love nothing more than to be home instantly.

Oh yeah. Definitely. Teleportation would be the best power. Now if only I could get my pea brain to do it. :)

LOL. It doesn't even have to be our brains. With a little rewiring, a phone booth might work. They're almost obsolete. Put them to good use.

Or Dr. Who. However we do it, I'm 100% behind the project, after driving something like 350 miles today.

message 15: by Raevyn (new)

Raevyn "Lucia" [I'm in it for the books] (raevynstar) | 36 comments Something related to water. Being able to spray it out of my hands, maybe? I just know that's what I'd want!

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

At first I thought fly, but that would take the thrill out of a lot of other things that involve falling and heights and such, so I'm going to agree with Raevyn (above) and say breath under water.

I would want the ability to talk to everything. People, animals, plants, rocks, elements....everything.

However, since I can't choose that---I picked absorbing anything I read in seconds.
