Should we continue from the other one or do a new one?
Dante was breathing heavily, tired and aching everywhere. That bastard! Telling him that he was the reason his mother died!Dante looked up at Raven and just nodded softly.
Dante gulped slightly and stopped walking. He sighed but clenched his fists on either side of him. He felt extremely angry."He said I was the reason my mother killed herself, it was my fault. I killed her".
Dante rubbed his forehead, he didn't want anyone to feel sympathy for him. He could tell she was. He grabbed her wrist and said," Please don't feel sorry for me".
Dante's eyebrows came together and his forehead creased. If he didn't feel sorry for her? What did that mean? Then he looked down at the wrist he had in his hand and looked at her hesitantly. He lifted her wrist and slowly and carefully pulled the sleeve up.
Dantes lips parted slightly and his throat suddenly became very dry. He saw the scars, the bruises and what not on her arm. He pulled the arm closer, which made her pull closer. He looked up at her and asked," Why?".
Dante looked at her softly, he looked down at his wrist and just revealed scars to her. He smiled nonchalantly and emotionless," Me too". He looked down at her arm and couldn't believe how much damage there was. "You're beautiful you know, you shouldn't let him do this to you", Dante whispered slightly.
Dante shook his head," If I were pitying you I would probably hug you and what not. You are, honestly. If you wasnt, you wouldn't have stopped the fight, you would have helped me and you wouldn't have let me see your arm if you wasn't beautiful". Dante gave a soft smile and an innocent shrug.
Dante smiled back at her, because he understood her. He nodded and laughed slightly," Yeah, I should probably fix it up". He could feel the blood slowly dripping down the side of his face.
Dante looked at her face as she wiped the blood away, he looked at her enchanting eyes and luscious lips. Then he nodded and smiled as she pulled him by his hand and held it. He followed closely behind her.
Dante didnt react to Raven letting go of his hand, but inside he liked the feeling of holding her hand and wished he could just grab onto it.He sat down near to the nurse, he nodded and said," Sure go ahead".
Dante could feel the nurse stitching his eyebrow, he looked at Raven and laughed slightly. "It's okay, Raven. It doesn't hurt". He smiled at her reassuringly.
Dante nodded his head and said softly," That's understandable". He looked at her for a brief second because those word meant a lot more, they had a story behind them to her. Then he smiled at the nurse as she said," Okay, you're all done, sweety". "Thanks", he replied back, as he got up.
Dante looked at her softly and said," I only have one friend". He didnt have anyone else but Vee, which didnt bother Dante because Vee was there.
Dante looked at her and quickly bit his lip. He smiled at her and said," You just gained a new friend, partner". He laughed slightly because he sounded so corny and cheesy.
Dante grinned at her and looked down at their hands for a quick second. He squeezed back and smiled at her genuinely. The he bit his lip again because he didnt know whether to ask her the question that was playing on his mind.
Dante nodded slowly and smiled. He could feel her soft hand wrapped around his, he couldn't contain his grin so he just grinned at her and nodded," I promise". Then he got his pinky finger from his other hand and said," Pinky swear".
Dante wrapped his finger around hers tighter, he glared at her playfully and said," About this whole project. You can come to my house after school". His sister wouldn't mind, she was open to anyone.
Dante nodded and smiled," Really. My sister doesn't see anyone besides Vee at our house". He laughed and then slowly unwrapped his finger from hers, but still kept his other hand with hers.
Dante was getting kind of nervous but slowly became comforted as he still felt Ravens hand around his. "Today, and whenever", he said. She could keep coming to his house, it wouldn't bother him. They were suddenly in front of the cafeteria.
Dante felt the empty space in his hand and then looked at her. He said," I have double history, double biology and then an hour of English". He face palmed himself because he just couldn't be bothered with the lessons."You?", he asked.
Dante smiled softly and as they walked into the cafeteria felt like he was being watched. Of course, people were looking and whispering. Dante huffed and then looked at Raven," I'll see you later, I'll meet you in the parking lot after school". He smiled at her one more time and nodded his head slightly.
Dante smiled gently at her and watched her go, he then looked down and walked away from everything. He walked over to Vee to see that he had gotten lunch for both himself and Dante. Dante sat down and slapped Vees back," Thanks man". Vee just nodded and smiled,"No problem".
Vee nonchalantly bit into his sandwich and said," So what were you doing with the girl?". Dante looked at Vee and said," First her name is Raven and I wasn't doing anything. I got into a fight and my eyebrow split".
Vee nodded and said," Don't worry I saw".
Dante and Vee ate and then talked some more. Vee went on about how his girlfriend kept pestering him. About what, Dante didnt know that. He kind of switched off.(Skip to end of school?)
Dante sat on his cars bonnet and waited around, he had his headphones in so he couldn't really hear a thing. But when he looked around he saw Raven. He waved his arms to her so she would notice.
Dante hopped off of his car and took out his headphones," I'm listening to a band called Sleeping with Sirens", he smiled at her.
( sorry for the late reply, I was having dinner)Dante placed his hands in his pockets and swayed slightly, back and forth on the heel of his feet. "I like them, they've inspired me a lot". Dante grinned sheepishly and said," Anyway, should we go?".
Dante looked at her seriously but in a joking way," Shh, don't tell anyone". He laughed and opened the door and got in, he turned on the radio to be greeted by Sleeping with sirens. "Ah yes!", he cheered.
Dante turned the car on and drummed his fingers along the steering wheel as he drove out swiftly. "Yep this is them, they have some hardcore stuff but this is one of there meaningful songs. It's called Rodger Rabbit". He looked at her briefly and smiled, then looked back at the road ahead.
Dante thought for a moment," About life, I guess", he said," about betrayal and love, and working your way up. It's about what you want in life". He kind of lost track in what he was saying, because he forgot that someone else was with him and that he wasn't talking to himself anymore.
Dante stopped at a red light and looked over at Raven," There pretty awesome". Then he asked randomly," What do you want a job in? Like what's your dream job?".
Dante looked down as her answer drifted off. He gripped the steering wheel and said strongly," You should do what you want to". He felt angry at Ravens father and felt sorry for Raven.
The red light changed to green and Dante drove off. He sighed and said strongly," Why? Because of him? Because of your father?". He would hate to see her give up something she love just because of her father.
Dante felt where she was coming from. "Your scars are a story, not a disease", Dante said softly. "You shouldn't let your scars and bruises stop you either". Giving up on a dream was even more depressing.
Dante looked straight ahead and sighed slightly."You're right, I probably don't understand". He didnt want to feel like she couldn't talk to him. He turned into a street, nearly there.
Dante saw in the corner of his eye that she was starting to get a little unsettled. He pulled up to the curb as he saw his house. He turned the engine off and then turned to her with a smile," We're here".
Dante laughed," You can tell my sister that when she comes home". He opened his door and quickly jogged to the other side of the car, he opened the passenger door and smiled.
"I didn't know that", Dante said jokingly, with his face creased confusingly as he played along. Then he chuckled and closed the door as she got out. He locked his car and then walked up to the house.
Dante shook his head," You probably don't. Her names Alisa ". Dante walked up the front steps to his house and saw that the porch needed cleaning. He got his key out of his pocket and opened the door.
Dante threw his keys into the pot as he entered, he shut the door behind him and watched Raven look around. He smiled and looked down quickly. "Do you want anything to eat or drink?".
Dante looked around and nodded," Yeah, it is". It was much better from where he came from before. Dante looked back at Raven and said," Are you sure?", while he walked to the kitchen.
Dante groaned and then said loudly as he raided the cabinets," We could do something about the culture and beliefs back then". He got some chips, chocolate and fizzy drinks.
Dante had tons of things in his hands but he nodded and said," Yeah! We could definitely do that!". Then he placed all of the junk food on the table and sat at the table. He heard keys go into the door and knew he sister was coming in.
Dante grinned and said," Sort of". Then he heard the door shut and his sisters, high and girly voice," I'm home, Dante!". Dante could tell that she was hanging her bag up and putting her keys in the pot.
Dante nodded while he opened a fizzy drink and replied," Hey, how was work?". She walked into the kitchen and froze with a smile on her face, she looked at Raven and then at Dante.
"It was good", she said, looking back and forth," Whose this?".
"This is Raven", Dante looked at his sister with wide eyes, warning her not to embarrass him.

Alisa looked at Ravens hand and then laughed, she introduced herself by hugging Raven and nodding," Yep, that's me".Dante hid his face behind his hand and peeked through. Oh god.
Alisa pulled back and placed her hands on her hips," Don't believe a word he says about me!".Dante rolled his eyes and said," Right Raven, don't believe that she's a nice person or that I love my sister".
