Who read it?

I have read and finished the Runaway King and it was awesome! It had another great adventure in it and I loved every moment but yet another cliff hanger like ending. What do you think of the book and what you anticipate for the next book.

I really loved the book but there was no ballroom scene and if you have a character that is royal in the story it seems kind of mandatory for me, that one special romantic part in the book and one of the places for a great battle scene or something. She could place this in the next book by setting it up like even though there was a war around them, Jaron's birthday rolls around and the princess, Kewyle, Tobias, Mott, etc throw this ball for him to help him to relax a little. There the princess and him could bond maybe share a kiss or the Avanians or some other attack takes place and it can set the whole mood for the rest of the story. I would love to see some of your own scenes of such a moment because I need at least some way to get that scene and I would love to see other creative writing like seeing things from the princesses or one of Jaron's friends point of view of the story because I can't write worth crap and would like to just open this discussion to anything about the Asendence trilogy

I LOVED IT CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT!!!!!!!!!

I read it. Great sequel. I liked the first better, but The Runaway King had a brilliant story. You never know just where Jaron/Sage is going to take you. I love characters like that.

I hope in the next book we get to see Jaron as king. I do love him as Sage but I want to see him leading his country and all of Carthya following him. We saw a glimpse at the end of the book so now I cant wait till the third.

I loved it so much.

I read False Prince as a read aloud to my 4th graders last month. I now have a waiting list for the "privilege" of reading Runaway King. Jennifer Nielsen has a talent for writing for the middle grade reader. My students love the series. Excited to see the conclusion of the story in book 3. :O)

I just finished it last night and I really enjoyed it. I think I actually enjoyed it more than the first one. I do wish there was a little more romance in it though. I would have enjoyed a kiss or two, but otherwise, it was really good...

It was really good and I can't wait for the next book!

I read it, and I loved it. Jennifer Nielsen is amazing!
Both books were beyond amazing. The author successfully and smoothly guided through the story. The characters, plot, and everything was just great. I read both books in a day. And, at the end of The Runaway King, I just wanted to bang my head on the desk because she left off with a cliff hanger. Nonetheless, I can't wait until she finishes the third book!

I loved this book i hate that amarinda broke sage and imogen up *sigh* but it was for the best and my favorite part was when the jaron thought to himself "Imogen was not saying we werent friends anymore we were more than friends" at that moment i wanted to jump for joy then i realized thay werent gonna get together! :(

I finished it a month ago and absolutely loved it. I like the fact that there is still that uncertainty as you read the book.

I also love Sage's personality. Not that I don't like how he is when he is Jaron, but who knows maybe there is a need to combine both personalities for the last book. I'm all up for that.
