I didn't finish yet. Still have about 100 pages. This weekend was busier than I expected it to be. Oh well... I'll probably finish tonight. I got to a really good part last night but I was just so tired I fell asleep. Claire is at Sandringham's house and he has locked her up and Mary has come to spend the night with her. I'm pretty sure that they found Hugo, the guy who was going to help her escape. I think I have maybe 5 chapters. But I think the last three are after she goes back. I could be wrong though. Just assuming.

OMG... I'm up to Mary's wedding to Jon Randall... if you can even call it that. Well at least Frank is not directly related to the devil himself. He just thinks he is. I can't believe that Jamie was able to stay in the same room with him for so long and then he took him to his room ALONE?!?!? Why do I feel lime that is a bad/great idea? He no longer has to worry about Frank not existing if he kills Jon. I say kill the bastard. *Fingers crossed.*
I'm done!!! The ending was strange for the second book in a really long series. I feel like Claire's story is over. I'll have to go read the description of the next book. Brianna was so mean to Claire. She never even apologized for the way she acted either. I understand that she was upset and the story is completely ridiculous, but did she really need to say that Claire was jealous of her because Frank loved Brianna but didn't love Claire??? Ouch.
Wow - you've finished it! I have guests so I couldn't check in as much as I wanted to. The next book is Claire's and the book after is Brianna's. I'm not sure what to expect from Brianna's.I found Brianna to be too mean too. She was really too extreme. Granted, I couldn't really imagine being in her shoes but still. I'm still wondering what are the rules of the time-travel. If Claire changes things, then were they really accounted for? Or will they cause certain changes like, Butterfly Effect?
I know what you mean but nothing really changed. It's almost like she was meant to go back and she had a part in everything that happened. Like maybe things would have been different if she hadn't gone back. I'm confused about the next one though. Claire goes back again but it seems like she goes back to a point after she left but when Gillian went back, she is going to a point before Claire went to the first time. Does that make any sense. It's so hard to explain. Basically, I'm just wondering how you can go to the time you want. What if she went back to a point after Jamie died, or what if she went back to the same time frame she went to the first time and there were two Claire's. I know that neither of those things happen, but she wouldn't know that.
That's the thing I'm wondering now too. What time will she go back? If X years has passed after she came back, then will she go back after X years has passed? How is that determined? How is that determined?Btw, are you planning on reading the next book in series?
Absolutely! Just not right away. I need to read A Dance with Dragons in June. I'll probably be able to start it in July. Can you wait til then?
