Eclipse

Twilight Saga's annoying issues.

I agree with you on these points. After being in a few relationships myself I realized that I HATE guys that are like Edward: controlling, manipulative, and forceful! I felt like Bella is just going along with whatever Edward tells her, and she doesn't really have any confidence at all. I felt like Bella was too dependent on guys a lot of the time and that she wasn't independent enough. I do still LOVE the series. This is just how I feel.

I hated that Bella Had to always get what she wanted. she was pretty whiney and always selfishly wanted Jake when they were never meant to be.
I love the books though, don't get me wrong. its just that Bella tick me off. I would love to see some more wolves though. GO STEPHANIE!
I also excuse my grammar issues though. I was just to lazy to get it corrected, also don't be a hater, everybody has opinion's and if you don't like it, DEAL.

I think Bella's very detailed descriptions of scenery was kind of unnecessary.
I found a lot of it redundant....but what bothered me the most was the ending. It disturbed me that she went with an "imprinting" on Bella's baby, that's just sick...in my opinion, because before that you would have thought they were possibly soul mates, to make it a soul mate with the girl's baby, I'm sorry...but that's...just...wrong.
Bella was not really a problem for me,I used to hate her character (because of movie) but after reading the books, I realized her character is not that bad. In fact its kind of interesting in its own way. Its far better than those female leads who wants to control everything and get grumpy or always live in 'I-will-control-my-life-in-my-own-way-mood', she is actually smart and want to see life in a perspective way..at least that's what I think..STILL there was one thing which annoyed me, the time when Edward decided to leave Bella and she tried to suicide ...it was nothing unexpected, she was in love & when people fall in love they become blind and irrational, so yes it was expected ...but deeply sad...
Now the characters which annoyed me were Jacob's father & Bella's father.. they were annoying ! Literally ! The way they were trying to control her life was not something which I appreciate...
Lastly, Edward........no I'm not one of those haters but sometimes he was 'overwhelmed', which was too much to bear -_-
The only books I liked were Twilight & New Moon. Not saying that I didn't liked the series, I did actually :)

It's been a while since I've read the books, but I remember being fed up with Bella for always wanting Jacob in Eclipse despite knowing how he feels about her and her commitment to Edward. It's understandable in New Moon but she needed to separate herself from him knowing he loved her.

The biggest problem I had with the Twilight Saga was about how obsessed with Edward she was. That was all she focused on, not her other friends or anyone else. Especially after Edward left.
Just my opinion.

My biggest gripe was the wasted potential. Alice and Rosalie had very interesting back stories that I would have loved to read more about. She cut those for depressed Bella and a love triangle.
Bella is the most annoying in the novel her incapability
to deal with life without edward her lovesick behavior sucks (The Most)..too much perfect The Cullens.

THERE. WAS. NO. PLOT. For 2000 (approximate) pages, Stephanie Meyer droned ON. AND. ON. About how Bella wanted to be a vampire. How Edward is gorgeous. How Bella loves Edward. How Bella mourns for Edward. How Jacob loves Bella. Etcetera. And the little conflict there was didn't show up till the second book.
Like others, I was sooooo disappointed in the ending!! It was like the whole series was leading up to this big climatic ending & it just fizzled. I kept thinking that a chapter was left out!! I also agree that the constant talking about how Bella constantly referred to Edward's looks. Yes, we got it....he's a beautiful, sparkly, marble god. We didn't need to hear it through all four books! :)
Me, it was the writing style. I dont know, I actually thought Eclipse was okay but Twilight, New Moon, and Breaking Dawn? It was HORRIBLY slow. And it was just not what i was expecting. Also, the boys thing is so true! She becomes so depressed just because he left her...

The characters are terrible, not the kind of people that you fall in love with. A book is good because it's characters are good.
And then the plot, bah! What plot? Fall in love, get almost killed loads of times, get married, have sex, have a kid, almost get into a war and then settle it through discussion.
WTF

I hated how Bella is all sad, and alone in Twilight and then all those great people (Mike, Jessica, that Asian dude (sorry, no offense) ) welcomed her in, but she doesn't ever thank them. She deserts them as soon as she lands Edward and I found it really disturbing, like who does that?

What annoyed me most was that the films were so much worse than the books, but that is NOT praise for the books!

The annoying part for me was when in 40+ pages stephanie meyer had described bella's pain w/o edward in one month and that was unbelievable. Twilight was okay, but after bella and edward finally started going out it just got confusing.
that every single romance novels is compared to this piece of crap, oh and not only romance books but every single YA novel or adult novels that is being made into films is compared to this book. Yuck
What's annoying about the Twilight Saga?
Mmmm.... That ever since the books were picked up to do the films, EVERY SINGLE PNR OR YA BOOK IS COMPARED TO IT. And mainly the ones that are either nothing at all like twilight, or way better than twilight I might add.
And that after all this time since the books and films have been out, people still insist on beating a dead horse and complain constantly about everything that they hate about the Saga.
IMO, this is what is annoyingly frustrating about this Saga.

my main problem with the twilight series is that they do nothing. sure the cullens can live forever, but then what? they are billionairs so they dont work. they dont sleep or eat. once bella discovers what edward is, she spend the rest of the series begging him to change her. and then he spends his time begging her to marry him. they get married, she gets changed, they have a baby...now what? when you live forever, what do you do?
Bella's constant whining and ineptitude. The focus on how attractive Edward is. The constant dwelling on the boring drama without drawing from the decent setting and history Meyers had put together.
It's like going to a chinese food restaurant and expecting some nice variety, sure you might be hungry again later but it's tasty and quick (like most of YA)
...and then you're only allowed to have the rice.
