Sorry I've been MIA. We have been doing some remodeling at home so between work during the day & working at home in the evening, my internet time is pretty much non-existent. Hopefully, I will soon have a home office to show for my troubles. We had been putting off working on it for well over a year so we finally decided enough procrastinating.

Hello again everyone.First I would like to say thank you for voting in the poll for February's monthly read. The results are now in: we'll be reading The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult.
I missed the announcement that we'll be listening to Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void in March, but thanks to the email system I got a warning. I just gotta say "Yay!" because it's on my Mp3 player and I've been wanting to read it for over a year now. :)
I was trying to stay on as owner of this group since I started it, but I have realized that I'm doing the group an injustice. I have too much going on to be able to keep up with it. So, I'm offering up ownership of the group. I would like to give it to someone who loves audiobooks & has the time to take on the demands it requires. If you are interested, please send me a PM with why you would make a good owner of the group & where you see the group going under your guidance. If my co-moderators, Paul or Zara would like ownership, I will give them first choice at it. Thanks so much to all members of this group who have been active participants. You all were the reason the group is here.
Zara has agreed to take over ownership of the group. I would like to give her a big Thank You. I know she will do a great job. I plan on staying on as a member of the group, but I actually plan on taking a little time off from Goodreads. Other than updating my "books read" status, I probably won't be on here much. Too much going on in my everyday life & some things have to be put on the back burner. I will try my best to check in from time to time to see how everything & everyone is doing. So, please, everyone give Zara a big Hello & Thank You for taking over the group for me. I wish you all the best.
Nikki
Thank you Nikki for entrusting the running of your group to me. I hope I do it, and you, justice. Thanks again.
Zara owns a group of which I am a co-moderator (Our Novel Escape). This group is in excellent hands.
Thank you, Nikki, for everything you have done. :)

Hi everyone. Please forgive me for being M.I.A. I've been preoccupied with my daughter who is suffering still from a work injury that happened in February and then in the last fortnight I came down with a cold which I caught from my son, even though I was doing everything I could to not succumb to it. I'm much better now so hopefully you'll see me around more.
