I haven't read any Sandman comics, but I think there might be interracial romance in it. It won't be between Death and Dream, but it will happen to the mortal characters in Sandman.
Also, I watched Anything's Possible on Amazon Prime. It was so tedious and cliché. I fast-forward most of the movie. It was just not enjoyable to watch. Plus, it seemed to demonize the dark skinned characters.

I'm super excited to watch IWTV since the acting is really good. Directing and editing are top notched too. I recall a conversation that I had with someone in this thread about casting biracial actors for white characters.
Honestly, it's actually the best change to IWTV based on the trailer alone. The biracial actor, Jacob Anderson, clearly has better acting skills. If I say so myself, his acting is immensely better than Brad Pitt in IWTV. Brad Pitt was very much overshadowed by Tom Cruise in the movie, and Brad, based on the rumors, didn't like filming IWTV, so I can tell that his acting was very lacking because Brad didn't try to put effort into the role at all.

I remember Andrew Lincoln wanting to leave because he couldn't stand filming that show forever. Now he decides to come back to AMC for the moneybag. LOL.
To be fair to him, Danai has a career outside of TWD. She filmed BP and BP 2 and will be filming upcoming Avenger movies as well. Andrew got nothing but TWD.

If anyone argues about quality of the show, there are shit ton of crappy tv shows/movies that Netflix renewed. Hell, they even made shitty sequels like big screen porn movie like 365 Days. So, the argument about quality is certainly not justifiable.
Also, Apple released a tv show called Surface starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw in a thriller that begins with interracial marriage.

I tried to watch Surface. Its bad. lol Like, I'm not sure how to properly convey all thats not right about it, but I wasn't able to get into it at all.

I've hung on JUST for a resolution to their storyline. I mean, in its hayday, that was Rick muthaf*ckin Grimes! LOL! So I'm limping along with it. I think the show suffered some writer/production ego and went too far with the killings of Glenn and Abraham. They thought they had such a loyal fan base they could pull it off and they effed around and found out. Add to that dragging out the Negan thing, and we are where we are. But yeah, those first 6-7 seasons were GOLD.

I'm super excited to watch IWTV since the acting is really good. Direc..."
See, I thought Pitt walked away with that one! I barely even remember Tom Cruise in terms of his role. He was awful, looked awful, sounded awful. But I felt Pitt's Louise was wonderful. So much melancholy and so pretty.
Has the new one aired yet?

October 2nd. Have you seen the trailers? It looks lovely. And I agree about Brad Pitt.. Boy ... back in his prime he was a pretty, pretty man. And in IWTV he was really the prettiest of all. Tom just looked like a guy in a long wig and white make up, LOL.

Really? These type of opinions just prove beauty is subjective, because I thought Brad Pitt looks fugly in it.
To be fair, I watched the movie on Amazon Prime, so I didn't grow up with Brad Pitt when I was younger. Then again, Brad Pitt is not my type. I don't find him attractive at all, young or old. His nose is too garlic shaped for my taste. His jaw line reminds me of cave man looking.
Getting back on track, I just watched Sandman. I don't really consider it to have interracial romance. While Tom Sturridge's Sandman has a romantic history with dark-skinned black character named Nada, they are more like inter-species romance, lol. Sandman can change looks. He, at 1 point, is starred by a black actor during the scene.
Off topic, Tom from Sandman needs to improve his acting. That man sounds like he has the same vocal symptoms as Christian Bale in Batman movies.

Also, The Invitation kinda has interracial romance. I mean, it's mainly horror, but still.

You're welcome.
From Scratch, upcoming tv show on Netflix that is based on the same named book by Tembi Locke, have interracial romance. It's starring Zoe Saldana.

Not sure if this counts, but upcoming The Little Mermaid is an interracial romance movie.

It's going to release in Nov of this year. I read the book, and it's very honest and brutal about the slavery and interracial "relationship" between slave and the master.

Remember, From Scratch and Interview with The Vampire will release in October. Both have interracial romance.

Also, just saw the clip. The actors are great in it, so I will definitely watch it too.

As a guy, I am not intoo soap operas a lot, watched a few with my mom as a an early teen, but being into IR, I thought I would try The Oval. I have seen some Tyler Perry movies and they were ok. I watched 1 episode and all the dysfunction is so over the top its cringey. I am from Eastern Europe, but read / watched my share about Jefferson & Sally Hemmings, James Buchanan being a closeted gay man FDR having mistresses and Eleanor being in lesbian relationships,, JFK stepping out on Jackie, I remember watching the Clinton affair in my early or mid teens on TV even here , but come on...
Does the show get a bit more normal, or are all episodes psychotically high-charged like this?
Ouch.
"Does the show get a bit more normal, or are all episodes psychotically high-charged like this?"
Nothing made by Tyler Perry is normal or without psychotic storylines and characters. His early stuff may have had some good humor and storylines, but the current stuff? Proceed with great caution.
Arch, I feel the same way.

No . It will not get better. Just the opposite as a matter of fact. it gets worse and worse. A caricature.

Just because a name is behind it does not mean it is worth watching.

Yeah, I found that out the hard way when I followed some of my fave actors to newer and (unbeknownst to me) darker projects. Did not end well! Lol

I know this is not strictly IR anymore, but I am interested in some examples :)

Peter wrote: "I am glad to announce that one of my fave mysteryshows, canadian Hudson and Rex does finally have an IR between Charlie and Sara (WMAW) after four seasons of increasing will they wont they."
I watch that show when I can catch it. I thought it has been canceled.

Lol it's mainly much of the folks I grew up watching in the 80s, 90s early 00s in rom coms and cute light shows and movies. On a smaller scale, Rukiya Bernard is one recent one that comes to mind. More well known, Andie MacDowell's filmography from a few decades ago is vastly different from her current one.
I'll end cap this with some on topic news though!
The usual suspects have posted their xmas movie list releases. Some are IR that I can tell but I'm waiting to see the full list of movies which probably won't be for weeks (as they are still filming some). I may add it to the other topic if no one else posts it.

Just started season 5, A few from Canada I liked have been cancelled / ended not how I would have liked not too long ago.

Also, The Bastard Son and Devil Himself, which is based on a terrible book, is coming out by 10/28 as well.
Both tv shows have interracial romance.
Forgot to mention The Midnight Club also has interracial romance.

Zoe acts as if she is playing herself, not the character.

So its not good, in your opinion? I had high hopes for it, upon reading what it was about. Will actually look for the book too.

Um, it's okay. I don't mind it, but I wish it is Danielle playing Amy instead.
