- why women kill (A black lady in a open relationship/married to white dude)
-Get Even (Brit TV show nerdy black girl + white guy and cute black guy)
- 15 days (Brit TV show - not sure about this but there's a IR couple)
- Insecure (I think BWAM)

All the feels that comes being a indian-american teen - crushes, friends, sex, parents and lots of humor, and great music - nostalgia! There's more depth to the show then what the trailer shows. Check it out!

No I haven't watched it yet......but I've finished watching Why Women kill and Get Even ....they were both really good.
15 days, I watched 1 episode someone uploaded in DailyMotion but I found it really boring.

Ohhh need to check this out

The Beauty and The Beast storyline features a BMWW IR couple and the Cinderella storyline features a BWWM couple.

It is an adaptation of Julia Quinn's Regency romance series featuring the Bridgerton family. The first book is the Duke and I. This is a Shonda Rhimes production and in her world, Regency era high society is not all white.
The central romance is IR (WWBM) as the Duke is played by AA actor Regé-Jean Page. Queen Charlotte, Lady Danbury and a character named Marina (I don't really remember her from the books) are all played by black actresses.
Here are the pics!

I heard there is some interracial couples in it.

Yes, and it was good.

You've probably found it by now but it's called The Details 2011.

But some recent ones include:
Black/Indian woman and an Indian man in Masaba, Masaba on Netflix.
A black woman, a white man, and a latino man in Motherland: Fort Salem. She also has another love interest who I think is Middle Eastern.
Kat Graham and Alexander Ludwig in Operation Christmas Drop on Netflix.
Naomi Ackie and Sam Clafin in The Corrupted on Amazon Prime.
And a lot more.

I just looked at the trailer for "Behind Her Eyes" and I'm amazed to discover that the black actress is British. The reason why - she played the American, Violet in Grantchester. As you may recall, Sidney left the church and England to be with her.

Why BWDM? Shouldn't that be BWIM? What is DM?

Also, I watched Behind Her Eyes and Red Dot and um.... well... hmmm.... let's just say they are both suspense thrillers and if they were books I would not shelve them as IR romances. And the second one is super violent and I'll just leave it at that.
If anyone watches or used to watc Queen Sugar Nova and Calvin (with his fine self!) reconnected at the end of last season and are fully together this season. She met his family and kids.

I read the book when I heard of Simona Brown (the bw lead)’s casting. She’s white.

For s2 they’ve cast an Indian actress as the new lead to star opposite Jonathan Bailey (a wm). Edit: There’s is also Twitter speculation the next female lead for s3 is an actress who looks to be biracial, of white and Asian descent.

Oooh, don't get me started! I wasn't interested in watching (I don't watch a lot of TV or movies) until I saw all the stills in all their glorious technicolour. I really enjoyed it overall and loved the chemistry between Simon and Daphne, but am conflicted as I had loads of criticisms too. I fell down the Duke of Hastings rabbit hole though, like many others... lol!
I love the casting for Kate, but am worried how they will write her backstory and think it may be as clumsily as they wrote Simon's/Lady D's 'race explanation' and other problems from season 1🙄...

And it took me like 4 episodes to be able to tell the Bridgerton brothers apart. I'm not motivated to watch any of them get an entire season.

When I saw the casting pics, I wasn’t interested in watching either but I gave it a try. It’s not terrible, lol, just lacking in parts. Simon and Daphne’s drama went on for waaay too long, imo. I was wondering how they’d patch things up. Lots of people are rewatching but I’m not up for it as there’s not much to rewatch for with the lack of central black characters (who are young and women, primarily). Yes, I can agree, the duke is a fine man, lol.
Lol, true. I think they have a black writer on team. Fingers crossed they get more and/or give her more prominence. Not sure how much power Shonda herself has, to let that through, let alone the colourism. But with Kate’s casting it looks like they’re killing two birds with one stone re: the colourism and lack of Asians in the foreground. Will Shonda do the same for black women? I don’t know. But if the actress who they say is going to play Sophie does play her, I won’t watch this show past the third season. I’ll be relying on Michaela Coel, Susan Wokoma and Viola Davis to do right by bw onscreen (the first two have script ideas/a passion to centre stories around (ds)bw and the latter has a production company and the same drive as her British counterparts. She’s already adapting Octavia Butler’s works, I believe).

And it took me like 4 episodes..."
IKR! It was so disappointing to me too when the cast list first came out. Kate’s casting provides some small hope (as Indians also have a colourism issue and this actress is dark-skinned) but until I find out who’s playing Sophie I’m not holding my breath. The next possible option for a bw lead is Lucy, and she’ll be in season 8 if they’re following one book per season like Chris Van Dusen (the showrunner) wants to do, and if Netflix renews it for that many seasons. And you know what Netflix is like already... Just look what they did to Sense8.
People have a lot of criticisms about Marina plus the colourism and have written articles about it, so it remains to be seen if any other young (monoracial) black actresses will be added to the cast in future and what their roles will be. If nothing else, it has to be done to add more balance to bw’s representation in-show. (Saying that, I heard both black and white actresses auditioned for her role.)
I think it took me about three, lol. At least Colin was easy, the first two look way too alike. It’s like that in the books tho (I’ve read the second and third of the series).

Yep, in terms of the main characters, that was the first thing that stood out for me too and I'm biracial myself. That and the wide variety of POCs of different shades in the background... that were just used as wallpaper that occasionally had a line or two. That was unforgivable to me. I live somewhere that is just as multicultural as I was seeing on the screen for a change (and not just white and black), and that is what I expected so see play out properly the whole way through.
The whole Marina storyline was distasteful to me but I understand why they did it. But I also think that the visual of her being a biracial woman being in that position was merely an unfortunate coincidence of casting because the role was open not written for a WOC. I know what you mean about the plec-effect but SHE did that shit (on all three of those franchise shows) deliberately and with malice.
As for the brothers, I think that their similarity was a deliberate casting choice, I did have difficulty telling them apart at first, but I got it by the end of the first ep because their personalities were all so very different.
