This story is about how God created man and woman (maybe even the world). I read it in the '80s. God uses mud to create the people, then he brings them to life by blowing into their mouths. I wish I could remember more. It is a child's book. Drawings of God's hands and mouth were on several of the pages, if I remember correctly. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

I've seen this book... It's colorful with all the characters crafted from clay. The title doesn't reflect the content, though. I don't think "Creation" or "Beginning" are in the title. The copy I remember was oversize, too. It had to be put on the shelf sideways...

Yes! That's it. I suspect you are right about the title, as I have attempted countless searches using those words. I feel validated now though. At least someone else has seen it too. Hopefully the title will be revealed!!
