Ali's Pretty Little Lies question

I think it's Nick Maxwell. Don't you ever wonder why in all of the books Nick Maxwell was never mentioned, only in Ali's Pretty Little Lies? I think there is a reason why a character named Nick is created. I don't think Shepard just created him just so Courtney could have a boyfriend while pretending to be Ali. It may seem far-fetched but having read the PLL books, I learned that nothing is accidental or random in this series.

But that's just my theory, though. :)

Totally agree about Nick. Something I've felt since the series began is that Aria is not as innocent as she seems. I actually think she knows an awful lot about the whole story and we'll find out at the very end of the series. Just a little theory I have. Something doesnt quite add up with her for me. Plus her first initial is also A which granted could just be a complete coincidence. At the same time though I feel like Shepard literally just makes up these stories as she goes along and doesn;t have any clear idea of where the whole thing is going. They really are getting ridiculous now but they are a guilty pleasure I'll admit.

When Courtney (who was pretending to be Ali) got pushed in the hole she sounded heartbroken when she heard the other voice which led me to think it was Nick who must be important in this setup...

Nick had a friend who was in an insane asylum right? He knew real Ali. Courtney recognized the accomplice's voice, and she would definitely recognize Nick's voice. It's more the question of why and how he could get away with being the accomplice-because theoretically real Ali is dead and new A should be the accomplice.

What if Nick is actually a decoy in the book to keep you from the real accomplice? The real Ali is not dead, Courtney is dead (who everyone thinks was Ali). You know what I think it was her father, who is hardly mentioned. It will be someone totally unexpected...I hope because otherwise it was a complete waste.

After all doesn't everyone?!

The reasons I think is is nick/Tripp/Jeff
To begin with, in Ali's pretty little lies, nick mentioned knowing somebody mental which make him knowing real Ali work. Also, when it said courtney recognized the accomplice's voice, she seemed shocked. It was also kind of random how they met and bonded unless Ali made nick do it. Plus, in when Courtney visited real Ali in the preserve, Ali said she was good friends with "Tripp maxwell" who suspiciously shares the same last names as nick. Plus, iris, Ali's old roommate liked Tripp and when they looked through his phone, they saw a picture of alison. At bill beach, hanna saw the male nurse Jeff who was described as having striking blue eyes as did nick. It would make sense he was there because he was probably helping Ali who was there at the time and maybe he possible made graham pratt's condition worse resulting in his death. I mean this is just my theory but I can't wait till deadly comes out because I want to know who the other a is! Plus, is noel dead or alive and what secrets did he keep?.....
