There's an autoscript that runs and will take care of deleting empty author profiles with no books or you can post on the threads requesting goodreads staff to delete or merge author profiles; the librarian manual doesn't usually track that or other activities so unlikely to get an addition to the manual.

Two of those profiles have fans so won't get removed by the script. They need combining with their proper profiles.

I think "تینوش نظم جو" should be combined into "تینوش نظم‌جو"

I did not know about the fan restriction for auto-remove. Should they be re-posted on the merge/delete threads or wait until someone spots in this revise the librarian manual folder?

Normally I wouldn't worry about reposting as all kinds of requests get spotted everywhere in group; but, since only goodreads staff can revise the manual I don't always check this section myself knowing they don't work weekends.

Oh, right. I hadn't noticed which folder this was. [drinks more coffee]. I saw this thread because the 'unread threads' option picks up all unread threads but you are probably right about reposting. Do you want to do that or shall I?

I think Rivka said the clear-up routine only removes completely empty profiles. A quote or fan or anything else should protect it.

You can go ahead and move to better thread; I have some author profiles I was editing thinking autoscript would fix that I need to go back and add to delete/merge threads.

Know to watch for in future edits.

the difference between these two names is just a space, and the correct version is تینوش نظم‌جو . the other most not be combined since its wrong. it should be deleted.

Can't believe I missed this part. *shakes head* I obviously need second breakfast before I can think clearly. It's the Arabic transliteration of Matei Vişniec. It can be merged, but it also can be re-added to the Arabic editions.
