I love Manhattan too...but not to live here. Grew up in Brooklyn and live in NJ now. Love the rural life.
Days...though, night have a certain appeal as you are more apt to not have a lot of people around so you can get more work done.

Can't stand to cook, but unfortuately my preference to eat out everyday has lead to high blood pressure and diabetes. (Not to mention being somewhat overweight.)
