But I spend a LOT of time on this site and this genuinely makes me sad.
I'll check back daily to see if its resolved, but I actually already have a headache, so for today, I'm closing the tab.

It looks so strange. It's definitely going to take some getting used to. Just typing this, I can barely tell if there are spaces between my words. If you look at the link Ally posted above, some people hate the changes, but others love it.
I feel like there are other changes too, regarding update links, but I didn't see anything about it, so maybe that's just me?

Has anyone tried adding a book link yet? There is now something at the top that says, "Add a reference:" What is that all about?

I guess I should note it looks A LOT better on my samsung tablet than on my desktop computer.

I think its the same, they just gave it a name. LOL!

I never understand people like that. I really pity them. It's very sad.

However I still have the add book/author button not "add a reference" lol"
It's when you click on add a book. At the top, it says add a reference. It doesn't appear to be clickable though, so just something weird that they added.

I wear glasses too and having problems. What about everyone else?

No glasses...the white doesn't bother me. I'm ok with the font most of the time too. I have great eyesight and sometimes the font is too small when I'm typing for me to see. Only in certain boxes though.

App is the same for now . . . at least the Android version is . . .

I still wanted to compare my years but couldn't find the stats feature that normally appeared on my reading challenges. Well if anyone is interested I found it. You have to go to "My books" and then click on stats (3rd option from the left on the menu). It was well hidden. I never look at that menu.

It's weird that they released it now and not in two weeks. I know for a fact that I will have at least one or 2 more books finished by the end of 2015.

I already did My Year in Books. It was interesting to see. I think it said somewhere that it would update with additional books read. I could be wrong though.

Today I get in my car and what do I see? A crack.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
I mean, thank god for insurance and I only have to pay a $200 deductible and not the $900 I saw on the invoice... But 2 weeks?
I am praying they tell me this windshield was defective....

Ally, that absolutely sucks! Isn't there some type of guarantee or warranty from whoever replaced it?

I think that falls into the Murphy's Law category.

Tracing your ancestors can be fun, as long as they are quite, quite dead. Stars Elizabeth Mansfield and Peter Dahlsen.

I really hope its considered a manufacturers defect. I guess we shall see.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you, Ally!
There is some severe flooding going on in the UK at the moment and the lovely city of York that I live in is one of the worst affected.
I can't really complain because my home is currently safe (and will hopefully stay that way) but I've just spent 24 hours without a landline or mobile and therefore no internet. It was bloody awful!
Here's a video of how bad it is https://www.facebook.com/Flashheart.W...
Personally I'm ok but one of the restaurants I work for has been caught up in this - 4.40 Wamgate on the video

Wow...that flooding is just awful. Glad you are safe in your home, even though it interfered with your services. I love that before the video they state that, "York has a bit of a damp problem." Slight understatement there.

Normally I don't join in criticising changes because it always seems people dislike change regardless, but this one is really hurting my eyes and head!
