Roxanne Shriver (roxannexshriver) Thank you very much! ^w^

message 53: by Sara (new)

Sara Campbell (admiralawesome) I write poetry of all genres but mainly dark, morose poetry. Writing is one of the only ways to get those dark, morose thoughts out of my mind so I don't go insane!

message 54: by MonaSWrites (new)

MonaSWrites | 2 comments I write Fan fictions and short stories generally based on light mood romance.

I may post the first chapter of Until We Meet Again. I haven't decided yet.

Stacey | 12 comments April wrote: "I write teen fiction/chick lit with all my main protagonists being females with a good head on their shoulders despite the situations they are in."

I like this. I am writing a story with a head stong female lead. It involves punk rock, tattooing and being in a cult.

message 68: by sara (new)

sara beara (sarathepilgrim) | 2 comments I love writing. To me, it's not just a hobby; it's something you do to save your life. Or even another life. I have read so many times about books teaching things, saving lives, and giving motivation. I think it's the best thing I could write for, and I try. I usually stick to the fantasy genre.

message 70: by Jade (new)

Jade I write about people who have lost someone and/or have gained or were born with special abilities. I like to give some sort of yearning question that you don't quite understand unless you read the whole book.

message 71: by Amelia (new)

Amelia (miawalla3) I write young adult fiction and a little bit of poetry. The poetry is more for myself though :) I really enjoy writing contemporary fiction, but I sometimes dabble in fantasy.

message 72: by Evelynn (new)

Evelynn (authorgirlev) | 806 comments @Jade: It's always a good thing to add something to the story that the reader won't fully comprehend unless they read the whole story. ;D

@Amelia: That's neat! I do the same, except for the fantasy part. :)

message 73: by S.L. (new)

S.L. (sabby34) I write mostly new adult books. I have a series out S.L. Ross you can see them and reviews here. I have also written a new story that I am pitching in the new year.

message 74: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) I write mostly science fictions and fantasy, because I'm a kid and all. But I do write fan fictions about crazy stuff, sometimes it's books and others it's games (How do you write a fan fiction about a game? It's a crazy idea, but I've thought of it).

Evelynn (authorgirlev) | 806 comments Hey all, I know I've already introduced myself (man, that was a while ago! xD), but I wanted to request some feedback on my latest story, Survival, the links to which I've been posting in my writing thread. It's realistic fiction, kinda like the movie Sahara if you've ever seen it, and I'd really like some feedback on it; only a few people have been giving me feedback. Thanks!

message 78: by Michael (new)

Mitchell Michael (orpasoa) | 2 comments I write fantasy/supernatural books, and honestly couldn't see myself writing anything that didn't in a way link to the supernatural world. I find it a fascinating world in which countless story-lines lay awaiting to be put from pen to paper! :) The Ancients Book One; Missy by Michael J Mitchell

Sci-fi I'm not the biggest fan of but that doesn't mean I won't read your sic-fi stories and comment and give you advice. I love realistic fiction the most out of the genres you write. I hope you find this group to your liking and don't forget to check out our Book Review Contest each month and Magazine Project and Word Battle.
