The new editions should have original title in the original title field.
In series description, I would add "also published as series" or "see also" note with link to the other series.
Not as sure if a discreet note should be added at bottom of book description stating was also published as x in y series. Or if both sets of books should be listed in both series (with all new title, author and isbn - I don't think editions have to be combined but not sure from manual wording). I'll let a more experienced librarian weigh in on putting in both series or any other combining needed.

".... Regarding author pseudonyms or pen names - some authors write or have written under multiple names. When editing or adding information for a book written by an author with multiple names, enter the author's name as on the front cover as the primary author. The author's other names may be added in the other author fields. Original name or other pen names can added and linked via a Librarian Note: in the description field, or using the Librarian Note feature located above the Title field. In some cases, a book may be originally published under a pen name, but then later reissued under the author's original name. When this happens, the author listed for any and all editions should be the author name the book was originally published under - so the reissued edition would need its author name changed to the originally published pen name. Doing this will allow the various editions to be combined. ..."

Well, primary author for all editions should be the same as the name on the bookcover of the original edition.
As far as series, if the author has officially (i.e., as it is listed on her website) changed the name, they should be listed under the newest series name, with any older ones listed in the series description. We don't add multiple series when there are different names for the same series, whether some are in other languages or all the languages are English.

However when going to shelve this on group bookshelves it only comes up under the original name.

Lover Uncloaked
All are the same book. All come up in the add book/author field but *not* when you go to add to a groups bookshelves.
Thoughts? I did put 2nd edition on the Lover Uncloaked as that is the new title. I know there is still clean up to do but I'm not sure how to fix this particular issue with the search and the only title showing up is the old one?

This is the new version/new name/new series name:
The Starting Over Series
Stirring the Embers
This is the old version/old name/old series name:
The Circle of Friends Series
The Burning Point
The new version doesn't show up in the list on the author's page or when you are trying to add it via the add book/author function (the old one comes up, but that can be confusing if someone doesn't know to click on "other editions") unless you know to click for other editions of the book under the previous name - it does come up in the GR search though.
The series attached to this book is The Circle of Friends, but that is the old name, the new series name is: The Starting Over Series
Should these series be lumped together or separate? I can see both (combined & separated) as being confusing for potential readers - if separated someone might purchase books they already own if they don't read the description...

Can someone answer this and point me in the right direction in the librarian manual for future reference? Please & Thank you!
