Hello, I am new and excited to be a part of this group

I am an avid reader of various genres but I do love a good mystery and/or thriller. My problem is that there are so many to choose from and I so do not like wasting my time on a 'bad' read. I have joined this group to help narrow my ongoing search for a good read in this genre and to chat with folks with similar interests as myself.
I do have one question, how do you vote on a book for Feb/Mar? Do you just second a nomination or is there an actual voting page vs poll page?

Depends on the group. I think that in this group, you're given the book and you can start reading. There are other groups where you can vote. You can check out my page and see the different groups that I'm in. I think it's good to be in a couple of groups in case you don't like the selection from one of the groups.

Welcome to the group, Barbara. I think you might find that you get more recommendations here than trying to narrow your search. The Feb/ Mar group read has been selected. Next time you can nominate a book or second a book if you want. Then after a specific time, we set up a poll so you can vote on the one that interests you the most.
