I am understandably saddened that you have never heard of the ephemeral Batman & Robin they are, after all, little known icons of the comic book universe. Not something that any intellectual person would read. But you do not want to vote for them anyway, even if you knew who they were. On the other hand Jonny & Hadji are the extremely well-known lads whose bromance was chronicled in the 1960s on an animated television show that was broadcast on all three networks (ABC, CBS and NBC) in the United States, although not simultaneously. There was an ill-conceived attempt to revamp their adventures in the 90s and in those dark, homophobic days another cast member was introduced that only cheapened the lads relationship. They had a wonderful comic book series in the 80s that garnered critical as well popular accolades. Now Hadji & Jonny have an opportunity to beat out those has-been defenders of Gotham City.

VOTE Jonny Quest & Hadji!

Hmmm... a compelling argument, I admit. Though my vote didn't go to Batman and Robin, 'cause Robin annoys me. And I'm still king of waffling on the Ren and Stimpy pairing ... lol

I regret to admit that Ren & Stimpy are an attractive choice, and the images coming to mind are particularly offensive interesting. I myself originally voted for Chip'n Dale but forced Lucas to add Jonny Quest & Hadji as an option. Thus my QUEST (pun intended) began.

All threats of virtual violence aside: Please vote for Jonny & Hadji

Yep. I see why Anil. Nice horse and lots of pretty women. Did I leave out some other aspect you find interesting? What did I miss?

You don't mean you actually watch those two half naked musclebound guys who are all slicked up with oil and sort of wresting with each other very sensually?

No. Of course not. Must be just be the pretty lady singing the song that has you addicted to the video.

I am so happy annoyed to see that I am not the only one who is resisting the flagrant peer pressure from the very persuasive Rick. However, as much as I like Johnny & Hadji, I must stay true and resist. I mean, come on, it's BATMAN!! He needs someone to make him happy!

I want to complain about this, because this hospital can't do that what will what would heterosexual not say if they were imprisoned and denied access to visit their loved ones, this is disrespectful and rude to treat someone in this way. This is scary that they allow a hospital to do something like that, everyone knows that it helps healing that your loved one can visit and be there for one to hospital.

I am very frustrated by the fact that I use a computer on campus to connect to the internet and thus I fear I am unable to view this undoubtedly interesting video for fear of the campus internet police invading the computer lab that I am in a arresting me.

Ironicly I am also wearing a t-shirt today that says: Fear is the mind killer (consider yourself awarded a COOL POINT if you know where that quotes from).

I must begrudgingly agree that Batman needs Robin. After all everyone needs a village to make them happy. And I certainly do not want to take Robin away from Batman, but Jonny & Hadji need to be recognized for who they are. Batman & Robin get recognition all the time. Ernie & Bert get recognized all the time. Jonny & Hadji - not so much.

Vote: Jonny & Hadji!

I regret that I must also admit to having grown up watching that wonderfully campy show as well. And Lost in Space too. But I also grew up on Jonny Quest and as kid of 7 or 8 was completely enraptured with the relationship between Jonny & Hadji.

Zack (aka the legendary artist Oliver Frey) is a member of this group but he is so busy right now doing his artwork (www.zack-art.com) he hasn't time to reply but in our "What I hate about M/M Romance" topic Oli's partner Roger Kean wrote:

"On his behalf (as loving partner and greedy agent), Zack, a.k.a. Oliver Frey, would love to do a real graphic novel – it's been talked about for donkeys' years – and considers the likes of Rogue and the newer Bike Boy as "mere" comic strip books. Bruno Gmünder, who publish the books, are chasing for a third Bike Boy-style book, and some strips in embryo exist, particularly , about a spanking new pair of jeans that pass by intention or accident through the hands of several young men, until there's little left of them as a pair of bare cut-offs. But he hasn't had the time to get to grips because of other commitments (including illustrations for Boys of the Fast Lane and Blood and Lust). The problem with comic-strips and even more with proper graphic novels is the enormous amount of time it takes to produce then compared to the financial return… :-( "

I am chagrined to think that my comments might have been misconstrued as anything other than praise for Zack/Oliver's lovely art. I am a deep admirer of his work and am patiently awaiting whatever gets made next. My only regret is that he doesn't have the time to produce all the wonderful projects that his mind can envision. Rick | 15794 comments I was all ready to unload another tirade in my never-ending campaign to see Hadji & Jonny reclaim their rightful position after having delicious Thai food with friends (alas not my personal superhero this time) and low and behold they have already reclaimed that coveted position of Alpha Male(s). So, I feel I have nothing to complain about ... wait ... that can't be right...

I want to gripe about having a waitress at my favorite restaurant who was new enough that she didn't know me, but not new enough that she thought she knew me from somewhere else. Anyway, she forgot to bring hot tea with the appetizers and then somehow I got undercharged by over half of what I should have been charged. And how honest am I? I told them and had them correct the bill! If I didn't love this restaurant as much as I do... grrr. Well, she knows who I am now and the other waitresses laughed at/with her about not recognizing me - which was totally unfair since she's never waiting on me before. At least I didn't get charged for the hot tea that she never brought.

And everyone who has been so gracious to vote for my lads, Jonny & Hadji, well thank you, and consider yourself all COOL POINT ed!

I must bewail the fact that I had no idea what Spitting Image was (is?) and had to look it up. Now I wish I was in such a cool place and England so I could have seen these things. All we get here in the Colonies are reruns of Monty Python and old episodes of Doctor Who but only up through the Tom Baker years, because American television companies are too cheap to support (meaning give money to) the BBC. At least we got reruns of UFO, Space: 1999 and other Gerry Anderson shows. Wait, I think I'm stuck in the 1980s, let me reset my er... I mean TARDIS ... ah, yes that's better ... now I'm only a couple of episodes behind on the latest series of Doctor Who featuring Matt Smith. But all this still doesn't help me in knowing anything about Spitting Image! $#%^!

I'm annoyed that I was never told they were non fiction. I didn't know they were true stories until I used that link and saw the bookstore sign above Bike Boy, Bike Boy Rides Again and Hot For Boys: The Sexy Adventures Of Rogue that said Gay and Lesbian Non Fiction. Also in that Non Fiction section I saw Boys of Vice City, Boys of Disco City and Boys of Two Cities.

Oh I am so upset! Kevin was right! They're autobiographical.
