Can she afford/access Audible? In the UK we have access to that as well as the https://www.rnib.org.uk/
and local library content.
Depending on her level of blindness an ereader may help. You can alter font and size and spacing. The more expensive ones also have text to speech and built in adjustable light. The screen is more gentle on the eyes too and bigger.
