My friend and brilliant co-member Lori THANK YOU for voting for Alexa Land!
Alexa is not only a very friendly and smart
I'm too scared to read her vampire books so I don't know about those but people who rated her Tinder Chronicles series thought well of it with the average overall rating being above four stars.
I hope you love the books. I believe reading the stories in the Firsts and Forever series in order is important. Here are the books in the series in order: Way Off Plan, All In, In Pieces, Gathering Storm and Salvation.
I deeply regret having to advise you that I submitted "whispers in a promised land" as a candidate for poem/poet of the month in the GR poetry group.Should you care to check it out, here's the link:

And if by some remote chance I become one of the finalists I will most assuredly be back here begging and groveling for votes, and agreeing to just about anything in order to get them!
Eric-the-"poet???"
Lori and Preston, hugs to you both!! Lori, I really hope you enjoy my books! And Preston, you totally rock. Thank you for pimping me out! :D
I'm shocked and appalled (yes, definitely completely appalled) to discover that our co-mod Preston is a pimp.Alexa, you must have seen being driven about in a dark window-tinted, pink stretch with leopard-skin upholstery, wearing a deep purple double-breasted with ermine fur collar.
I feel most strongly that I shall have to message co-mod Boyd and suggest Preston's removal on the grounds of bringing down the tone of complaining.

Thanks.
I've been away from here for so long I've forgotten how to complain, I clearly need to practice more.I got this message early this morning "I noticed you haven't been cussing much lately" from a
annoyed he thinks I cuss a lot! I have no
idea why he
thinks that.

Mumble::complain:::mumble He? Must be that nasty Roger. Eric is too much of a gentleman to talk about cussing.

Yes it was that
Oh and on a happy note I voted for the June Author of the Month :D
Monika wrote: "Oh and on a happy note I voted for the June Author of the Month :D ..."Thank you Monika! You're a super caring and sharing person and so generous with you help!
xxxooo Preston,
Don't tell anybody I sent you hugs and kisses because Roger will get jealous :-)

Awww thank you for saying that Preston. *blushing*
My lips are sealed about the hugs and kisses you sent, he'll never find out from me.
Thank you Monika! I'd shower you with hugs and kisses too, but since I don't know you that might be kind of awkward. :D

Oh, good Lord! Did I start this huge hug ’n’ kiss-fest… no no no, I'm
Oooh look at that
Roger wrote: "Oh, good Lord! Did I start this huge hug ’n’ kiss-fest… no no no, I'm so happy just plain disgusted to see people a-huggin' and a-kissin'."
But sweetie we all love you and I'm sure everyone here would join me in sending you hugs and kisses!
xxx ooo Preston
Yeah, count me in that hugs & kisses fest. I just love to eat that kind of stuff up. Although I'm not sure about that big green meany up there, giving him hugs & kisses seems a bit stress inducing.
Preston wrote: "Roger wrote: "Oh, good Lord! Did I start this huge hug ’n’ kiss-fest… no no no, I'm so happy just plain disgusted to see people a-huggin' and a-kissin'."
Oh yes, yes, yes Kissing and Hugging Roger all day and all night long!
xxxx oooo kissy, kissy, huggy, huggy!
Your secret admirer, Boyd
Awwwwwwwwwwwww, Boyd.That's sooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet!
It inspired me to go listen to Doris Day singing your theme song:

Now I'm disgusted at myself. How could I be so cruel, I say to myself. I feel like Frankenstein's monster, befriended by the blind violinist and the trusting little girl, and all because of Eric making me play that P.S. Give the big green meany a kiss and a hug and he might just turn into a handsome young prince (THYP™ and © 2013, the Everwending Story, Inc.)
I feel I must
I both love and want to kill (in equal measure) the certain individual who nominated me for Author of the Month in the first place, thereby inducing day after day of anxiety until this F@#$ing poll closes! Not naming any names, mind you....
Alexa wrote: "I both love and want to kill (in equal measure) the certain individual who nominated me for Author of the Month in the first place, thereby inducing day after day of anxiety until this F@#$ing poll..."Well being Author of the Month for a Group Book Read is boring. Ask Roger. He had to endure the tiresome stultifying process twice with A Life Apart and Gregory's Story.
I'm pretty sure I will die of anxiety long before this poll ever closes. But on a positive note, a posthumous victory still counts...
Alexa wrote: "I'm pretty sure I will die of anxiety long before this poll ever closes. But on a positive note, a posthumous victory still counts..."What is your problem lady? Just get Nana over here and at 80-something years old her mafiosi talents not to mention her gun are enough to solve any of your problems with this process.
I'm feeling good about it and I've got more to lose than you do. You can always run again but I will lose my credentials as a campaign manager and vote strategist.
Enjoy the day.
Might I suggest that nominating an author for Book of the Month be declared a hanging offense…But if you need cheering up when your laptop/tablet/phone plays up go watch this laugh a second delight…

P.S. Preston… er… you've grown fur. Very attractive fur, mind, but…
Roger wrote: "Might I suggest that nominating an author for Book of the Month be declared a hanging offense."Okay. I won't nominate Rod Bellamy. Gee but what about nominating you when Harry Great Trek is published? Is that a hanging offense?
Woof!
Preston wrote: "Okay. I won't nominate Rod Bellamy. Gee but what about nominating you when Harry Great Trek is published? Is that a hanging offense? ..."No, that might be a mitigating circumstance and get you off with life. :-)
Good boy!
Complaint Department victory!! Thanks to the support of so many of you, including our fearless leaders/co-moderators Preston and Boyd, I came in first in the Author of the Month poll in the M/M Rom Group. No freaking way on earth would that have happened if the Complaint Department didn't have my back!Yes I know, this post is devoid of any actual complaints. But in my defense, I did a lot of grumbling and general kvetching while voting was in progress. Perhaps I've reached my quota for the month.
Congratulations, Alexa!
Roger wrote:That line won't work Roger, I already told Alexa Land you were reading the books in the Firsts and Forever series and liking them.
I The significance of the award is that it is the 11,000th book in my library. So, yeah, there's a wee bit (?????????????????) of cyber-back-patting going on here.
