Andrew was out working in the field with his dad. Sighing, Andrew looked around before finishing up with plowing. Wiping off his forehead, Andy headed inside to get a drink of water. He'd been out there for at least ten hours now and his mouth tasted of dirt.

Carter snuck away from her guards using hidden passage ways she discovered awhile back. She pulled her hood over her head and wrapped her cloak in around her. When she spotted a well she went to it for a drink.
Heading back out, his father called him over. His dad told him that they needed a new tool so he'd have to go into the village to get it. After he got some money, Andrew left to go get the tool.
After raising the bucket she took a sip. It was very refreshing. She looked around in nervousness. If her father found out she left castle grounds she'd be in big trouble. He was very strict. Carter wanted to venture around the town, so she started in the craftsmen shop.
Andy was already in the craftsman shop, talking to the owner about the tools. After a minute, the guy began helping Andy pick out the correct tool that he needed. After he paid, Andy headed out, giving Carter a small smile and nod as he walked past her.
She smiled back and paused for a moment looking at the commoner. Then she spoke. "Excuse me? Would you have any advice to pass on for what things there are to see around town?" The boy was about half a head higher than her.
"There's lot of things, but if you want to see something really pretty then you should go to the meadow. The square also has tons of pretty things to see. I gotta go. Goodbye." Andrew gave her another small smile before heading back to his house.
-happy st. patty's day!-"Goodbye," she said after him. She watched him go with a lingering smile. Off to the meadow, She thought. Clutching her cape she walked on towards the meadow.

After a while Andrew finished with what chores he had then decided to go for a walk. Running a hand through his hair, he sighed softly as he looked around the place.

She laid out on the grass and drifted off to sleep. It was so peaceful around her that she couldn't help but slip into a doze. The wind blew gently and the grass swayed to silent music around her.-should a random storm come in?-

After a while, Andrew ended up going into the meadow. When he had the time he always went here and just sat around. It was a beautiful place. Once he was there, he sat in his usual spot, not seeing Carter.

Dark clouds rolled in and the sky no longer shed any light. When the rain drops started to fall, Carter was stirred but did not wake. The first clap of thunder startled her enough to wake up, but when she did she was lost and confused. Looking all around her she didn't see the way to exit the meadow, or remember which direction she came from.
Andrew got up when he heard the thunder. Beginning to head home, he accidentally tripped over Carter. Through the rain, he squinted to see what he tripped over. Thinking it looked like a person her said. "Hey, are you okay?" He couldn't see who it was, but knew he should ask if they were.
Carter wiped her eyes and tried to see who it was. Since the rain was loud and drowned much noise she just shook her head. "I don't know where to go!" She called out.
Seeing the person shake their head, he quickly searched for their hand before pulling them up and heading to his house. At the feel of how small the person's hands were, he guessed it was a girl. His house was only a few minutes from where they were so they wouldn't be out long.
She furiously wiped water out of her eyes. Carter didn't know who the boy was or where he was taking her. Her closed were drenched and made her lag their haste to get out of the rain.
(So freaking sorry!!)

-its ok, i was on vacation anyway :) -She wiped the drops of water off of her face and tried to wring her hair out as much as she could. Carter stole a glance around and was curious to who lived in the place.

"Thank you," Carter whispered. She dried off her arms and face, and tried to pat down her dress so it wasn't as heavy with the rainwater it absorbed. She glanced at the boy and caught a peak of his eyes. They're gorgeouss. She thought. Carter looked away, hoping he didn't see her staring at him.
"Welcome." Andrew smiled at her. "Are you uhh thirsty or anything?" He figured he shouldn't forget his manners especially since she was a girl and his mom would kill him if he didn't offer her something. From the corner of his eyes, he surveyed her face, thinking she was really pretty. Then he remembered her from the store,
"No, I'm fine, thank you," she said. Then she recognized him. "Oh! You're the boy from the shop!" Carter looked at him for a second before turning away. "The meadow was nice by the way," she said.
"Welcome," he replied. "And you're the girl from the shop." Andy gave her a small smile as he fixed his shirt which kept clinging to him in uncomfortable ways. He would've taken it off, but he didn't want to. It wasn't that he didn't have a nice body it was just that he didn't like it.
