read the first 2 chapters that are released on pc cast website. loved it. can't wait until the book is released and I can read the whole thing

What's lame is chastising people for having an opinion you don't like. Nobody is trying to stop the fans of this series from liking the books. But the people complaining about the "haters" need to remember that goodreads is supposed to be a place for readers to give their reviews, good AND bad, on books. If you don't like people giving books you love bad reviews then ignore those reviews and stick to talking to other fans. Nobody should be made to feel that they can't express their opinion just because there might be fans of said book who act like negative reviews are some sort of personal slight against themselves.

I liked this series when it first started and was never really bothered with it being too long as long as each book added to the story but this last one was just bad. Not going to spoil it but what they had Zoey do and her ending, was just bad and pointless. This book didn't move forward to getting Neferet stopped or much of anything really. For the record. I loved this series in the beginning. Love the Cherokee legends, and Nyx stuff. Like most of the good characters...even Aphrodite in this book was grating. I keep reading only because I made it through so many books, it's a shame not to read the last two so I read this one and will read the last one. But it also bothers me that the many books take place over only what seems like a month or two in their world, so slowwwww......with so much filler and too many characters introduced late in the series that seem to have no point, there was plenty to focus on with Zoey and her gang than to add more and more.......so yes, I will give my (really bad) opinion of this book.

I completely agree with you. This series has been my guilty pleasure - a chance to turn my brain off & have some fun - but this instalment really felt like the whole thing was filler.

Having said that, I will still read the final book so that I follow the characters through to the end of their journey - hopefully it will be more interesting than this one.

Just a fyi check out your public libraries. Mine already got this book in, and I was able to check it out and read it for free. I love free. :) The book in wasn't as good as the past books, to me it didn't seem like anything major got solved. But it was an interesting read. I don't like the raunchiness to it though. I purposely read teen books, because there is less sex, vulgar language. But this series has a lot of it. Especially in revealed. I know some teens do talk this way. But it almost seems like the author is just putting those words in for shock value, etc. Ins't the mother and daughter writing these books? It seems like the mother is writing most of the book, and then the daughter is like mom we should add this and this to make it sound like teenagers. Thats just what I think though. I will continue to read this series until it ends. Even if the books are crappy. I'm the kind of person that when I pick a series I like, I stick with it.

I have read all of these books and its one of the few series that with every new book the series gets better. I am not going to lie I was a little disappointed with this book. It had a lot going on but yet nothing happened. I truly believe that the next book will be the best book yet. There is so much going on and so much that has to happen. I just believe that it will really kick ass. This book I did like though it didnt take me long to finish. I will be excited to read the next one when it comes out and yes I know I am a guy haha I just enjoy great books
