Two to go! I have to get Fingersmith from my Mum before I can start reading it, so I may have to wait until the weekend. So I guess I'll be reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory next :-)1.

. Not really liking my chances of completing the challenge but I'm enjoying trying!!!

My friends survived but there were others who didn't or who lost everything.Also I don't live too far from these areas. As I read I have goosebumps and think "there but by the grace of God go I." We really musn't take anything for granted.

. Not really liking my chances of completin..."No.. I've waited for the right time to read it. Enough time has passed and it's not summer so I think I can handle it. I really have been wanting to read it as I think it's important to know more of what happened on a day that will always be remembered as one of the worst days in Victoria. It's too easy to become complacent, especially as time passes. Mind you I haven't been able to visit King Lake at all, although I hear that it's all looking much better now, of course. Thanks for your thoughts Brenda.
