Overall this book was amazing. I loved how Biss used a mix of personal experiences and facts throughout history. Because of this readers can see how race and culture plays out on both a large and small scale. Her language and descriptive tone make Notes From No Man's Land a very interesting read. I personally love to read about issues that involve race, history of race relations, and culture, but even if someone wasn't particularly interested in the subject matter, they would still find this book intriguing.
