Usually if someone wants to recreate something from another group, they just message a mod, ask if it's okay, and then when they create the thread they say where they got the idea from. So for instance, we borrowed the 'Reading Sprints' idea from Jacquelyn at 'Crazy for young Adult books' - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
and she borrowed the 'wanted: reading buddies (ARCs)' from us - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

All we ask is for a little credit. That's all.

Well, one things is to adapt an idea, but she is using what Sarah and Abbie put together word for word, and that's not nice at all!

I see that all the time and groups them giving credit to other groups for ideas, this challenge is crazy, I just woke up and people already have found things, LOL! I might just stick with all the reading challenges ;-)

I understand that was rude of me and I have mentioned that I was sorry. I have given them their full credit. This will not happen again and if I think to use someone else's challenge or anything i will be sure to ask and credit. Once again I am sorry. I understand if Sarah or Abbie decides to take me out of the MMC challenge this year or even their group. I wouldn't want that to happen, but I will accept the consequences for my actions. Sorry guys.

I just want to say a very, very sincere thank you to Abbie and Sarah for everything they do for this group. I don't know about everyone else, but this is the only group I use now and I met most of my GR friends through i too. We all really appreciate your hard work girls, and it really means a lot to us! Keep up the good work, best of luck for this crazy, crazy month and I hope that this problem can be resolved. <3 :)

The only thing to bear in mind is that it's 2 points for a YA cover with a surfboard, and 1 point for a non-ya cover ☺

No, they should all say 48 hours, but I copied the original information from last years challenge, and last year it was only 24 hours (which ended up getting pushed to 48 or even 72 hours anyway) ☺
