Coordinating a release

So my first book should be ready to print in the next month or so, barring any major re-writes. I'm planning on making it available through Amazon's Createspace, the Kindle and through Smashwords. I understand Smashwords has around a week where they check out the quality before they put it up, but has anyone else done, or tried to do, a release on multiple outlets in one day? I have a friend that does a fairly popular podcast and he said he'd be more than happy to give me a shoutout for when it's finished and ready to be available. Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.
