In this part,
we had
some annyoing
writing.
But just barely. I already knew that a fire was going to happen, but I didn't know why. In this part we get to know what happened before the fire. The why of the fire.
The Sinclairs's family is really f*cked up. Granddad is like the Dumbledore in this book. You think he is a nice grown-up man, but his actions are only for his benefits. Telling Carrie she won't get her inheritance if she marries Ed. Telling Gat to get away from Cady. Why? Because they are of color. And perfect, white guy doesn't want races mixing in his family, does he?
And everything was going fine, until shady Gat appeared at the very end. I really want to know what happened between Cady & him. Though I don't ship them, their drama has me intrigued.

Yeah, I thought the secret was going to be something more intriguing... I mean, after reading A Series of Unfortunate Events, it was not that kind of fire that would blow my mind (I guess that's why it was sort of meh). It had
some annoying
writing
also
but it got better. It was easier to skip it, and there were more dialogues, which made it better. I seriously wish this would become a movie. It has the perfect plot for a movie.
