Gremlin | 966 comments Gotcha, Gabriela!

And simultaneously I'll be giving myself some more miles for reading a book set in a different country:
Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys

(I guess I'll say this is in Russia? Which is where large parts of the story takes place, even though the characters are Lithuanian and start the story in their own country).

I'm going to take this as a "different country" book for now - and I like that it's also a "famous landmark" book - so if I want to read another book taking place in France, I could swap things around :)

My total mileage count is at 8,500 miles.

Isn't it just delightful? That's one of the main reasons that I wanted to start it as a traveling book! I feel like it's still pretty undiscovered and I want more people to be able to enjoy it :)

Hi Casey! It's actually classified as Adult - but you can still read it! You're allowed one non-YA book.(And if you read more than six books for this challenge, then you're allowed another non-YA).

message 91: by Casey (new)

Casey Anderson | 637 comments hmm i already have one and doubt I'll read 6. I'm sure you shared it before...but where do you check the age group? It wasn't on the book inside.
