If I could go in my old middle school library for just one hour (provided they didn't do a 'modernization' and get rid of all the older books they had in the late 90s) I would probably find all of these books I look for here...

Anyway. This book was about a boy who thought he had been kidnapped when he was younger. It might have been that he *thought* his name was actually Leonard. I think I recall there being other books that followed the 'letter is for' tittle. I vaguely remember reading a 'C' book but can't remember details. It seemed like it was from the 80s. I think the cover was gray with a Polaroid photo of a boy on the bottom with the title in the upper left.
