Leila Summers (leilasummers) | 43 comments Group members -- add your books (only those relevant to the group genres) to the group bookshelf. Other members can then easily view your books.

To add your book, visit the group link https://www.goodreads.com/group/books... and click on add books, then add your own book :)

Hi Claire,
Once you've done the search, you should see 1 or more books in a list. Next to each book should be a button that says 'Add to Group'. You just click that button.

Let me know if you can't do and which book you are trying to add and I can help you!

Kindest,
Leila

The stories are simple—yet powerful—vignettes of Heidi’s life that perfectly illustrate the magnitude of results when one chooses positivity. The beauty of these relatable snippets of real-life is the amplified way it resonates with everyday people. Whether it be having a meltdown in Costco or finding out your act of kindness saved a life, we can all pinpoint similar events in our own lives—and that is the magic of this book.

• How to navigate your own stories to find key lessons in your life;
• The steps Heidi took to understand her true purpose, and how you can find yours;
• The profound lessons Heidi was able to learn from her kids, marriage and friends;
• How to broaden your mind to be open to the signs & messages sent to us from the Universe;
• How long-lost memories can reveal important answers and lessons

Rita Louise | 2 comments The Dysfunctional Dance of the Empath and Narcissist Create Healthy Relationships by Healing Childhood Trauma by Rita Louise The Dysfunctional Dance of the Empath and Narcissist: Create Healthy Relationships by Healing Childhood Trauma

The Dysfunctional Dance Of The Empath And Narcissist takes an in-depth look at the unconscious patterns that keep individuals trapped in cycles of abusive relationships. It endeavors to raise people's awareness to the ingrained programming going on deep inside and help the reader understand how they keep getting into these situations in the first place.

Honestly, when people enter into a new relationship, they do not go looking for the rotten apple at the bottom of the barrel. However, countless individuals repeatedly find themselves in these hurtful situations and do not understand why.

A recent Facebook survey of people who self-identify as being empathic revealed a startling insight. Over 80% of the 1,300 respondents disclosed they had suffered from some form of abuse or neglect during their childhood. Organizations, such as the American Psychiatric Association, have also identified early childhood trauma as the cause for the development of severe narcissist tendencies.

An interesting dynamic often develops between the loving, compassionate, and often selfless empaths and those willing to take from them, the self-serving narcissists. Both look to heal their inner wounds in the arms of the other.

Regardless of what happened to a person when they were young, they have the power to redefine themselves and their life. It is possible to break free of these destructive, negative patterns and finally experience the loving, healthy relationship they have always desired.

Jocelyn Jones | 1 comments Hello Group!

I self-published my memoir (which turned into a) motivational/spiritual/self-help guide. Along with my story of growing up amidst artists -- I take the reader through a step-by-step journey of self discovery using techniques I teach my acting students on how to find and listen to their inner voice.

I've added my book, Artist: Awakening the Spirit Within, to the bookshelf and hope you all will enjoy the read.
