The description probably needs updating as it seems to list the awards the work has won. Will leave that for another librarian with knowledge of French to correct.

The description looks good to me. (I'm one of the francophone librarians.) It basically says he wrote this group of stories between 1991 and 2002. It goes on to say which titles won various honors and awards and finishes with a comment on what type of sub-genres the works are; e.g., uchronia and breathless-paranoia thrillers. I think the description is fine with the awards left in because it gives people a good idea what type of book it will be and it is written in to the body of the text and seems pretty cohesive.
