SOLVED. Dragon based triology [s]

I read it a good 6-8 years ago so i dont remember much. If i remember correctly it was set in somewhat older times, and there were three books to the series (i only read the the 1st and second). In the first book The main character is female, she befriends a dragon (he may have been the king of dragons..). The dragon's mind is taken over and is left at somewhat of a cliff hanger. Supposedly in the second a female dragon's mind is taken over as well and the two dragons have a fierce battle but fall in love at the end. In the third book (i remember the most of this one) it starts on a beach. The main character girl makes glass out of sand and is also preparing for her weading. The two dragons also recently have eggs. While the girl is wearing the wedding dress, other dragons appear with a net and steal the eggs. One egg/baby dragon falls out and the girl catches it. Green goo ruins her new dress. They go on a mission to save the eggs, a spell of some kind disguises the large dragons as the smaller enemy dragons on the island. In a village the main girl is captured and becomes a slave/servant to a dragon. Later when she escapes and is captured again it is discovered that the eggs were taken because the enemy dragon's own eggs kept breaking. This had something to do with the fact that the nursery cave was inside a volcano and the heat was making the eggs weak. They had to escape before everyone and the eggs were killed.

The Pit Dragon Trilogy is the first thing that comes to mind of a dragon trilogy. Haven't read it, so not sure of the plot, but it's supposed to be a good series on dragon's at any rate.
