I'm almost done with my book... I've laughed - I've cried - and I've wanted to inflict some serious bodily harm!

So V - I signed up on our CTF spreadsheet that I'm reading this book and the MC is an instructor...They asked what he taught?
"Uhm.. How to f#ck..."
speaking of apple pie, the gig on Sunday went brilliantly !!I even got dragged up to sing a couple lol (with the hubby not the American pie man)
V - How are you liking this book so far? I'm guessing my sports bra would not be deemed sexy... Lol!
I'm going to start when I get home tonight :) I went with the Ebook, you know i'm kind of weird about narrators and wasn't sure about this voice...

Mind you the kids break up soon for the 6 week summer holidays from school ............"
First week of June here. Son starts drivers ed next week. I'm kinda scared, lol
I bet! It's nerve wracking at first for sure. My hubby was a much better (patient) instructor for my son - and probably will be the same with our daughter when it's her turn. I just kept grabbing for the "oh shit" handle and closing my eyes. Apparently that makes new drivers even more nervous....
Yeah - hubby worked with him last weekend backing out of our driveway and just driving around our cul de sac. I heard a lot of tire screeching and had to back away from the window. Our son is going to be fine and is already really nervous. I'm actually more worried about our daughter as she is always telling hubby to drive faster - a little bit of a speed demon that one, lol
I finished this one last night and, although I liked it OK, I did not like it as much as I thought I would...(view spoiler)
Hmm just finished this (don't you just love 2 hour bath soaks!!)Anyway I agree with you Kristin (view spoiler)

I would LOVE to have a 2 hour bath soak Sounds awesome!
I've started - I'm in Chapter 5 did anyone feel like maybe (view spoiler) Ali - isn't so bad when you're reading her - since I can make them sound anyway I want them to.
One of the reasons I don't do a lot of audio - the narrator can really make or break a book for me :)
I'm glad Ali is more manageable in print.. I'd agree that this is definitely one to read over audio. (And you know, ST, how hard that is for me to say!) LOL!Melissa - I totally agree... It would have been nice (view spoiler)
ST - Did you read or listen to Beneath the Stain? just started this one tonight and I think I'll have to buy everything Nick Russo narrates now...
Kristin, I read that right around the same time you and V were converting me to audio ;) So I kindled that one, but I'm going to have to go listen to the sample.I told V that kleenex were needed for this one, also put your phone in a protective case for when you want to throw it :)
I don't think I've listened to this narrator before - I'll have to go look. But I love his "Grant" voice the most.. kind of deep with a slight southern drawl.
Kristin ~ Experiment in Terror Junkie wrote: "Like right about now!!!!! [spoilers removed]"Uugghh!! So much get's me riled up in this story!
Ohh, the southern drawl, second favorite (I'm still hung up on my Scottish accent kick).Might have to give a reread on this one :) with the audio.
I loved the music components in that book, so excited when books about musicians actually have them writing music *swoon*
Ok ladies - I finished this one. Hmmmm - thoughts - I stand by my feeling that we should have seen him with another group of ladies to see what he was like before Ally. I think that would have made it better to see him in action as a bad ass. Also - it mentions how he goes without during the six weeks of training (view spoiler) Totally glad this wasn't a cliffhanger. I saw that it was a 1 of a series - so glad their story is done. I read the blurb for the next one and I kinda want to read Heidi's story.
I don't know if I could go for the next in series like you Melissa ;) Maybe you could give me the cliff notes version on Heidi's story!
Snowtulip wrote: "I don't know if I could go for the next in series like you Melissa ;) Maybe you could give me the cliff notes version on Heidi's story!"LOL - I'll prob only read it if I can get it for free like I got this one :)
If I do I'll let you know how it goes
