THE SAD BUT TRUE FACKS ACCORDING TO LOU
1. Yeah, short would have been smart, but NOPE!!!
2. My current BR also has more than 300 pages.
3. I am afraid to look at the page count for the other 6.
4. V has 8 too!
I can usually count on Ezi's signing up for more than I have, so what's her body count this month??
I didn't even *look* at Ezi's this month just in case, she usually has a couple I want to read and I didn't want to risk it, I just skimmed straight past lol
Sorry V - I was trying to help you out with a little denial.. Well, until we have a final

Hopefully you have small heads...
V Audio Nerd wrote: "Haha well as well as Kermit, I am also affectionately known as "Pea Ed" so the crown should fit!"FABULOUS!!!
V & KI forgot to ask. What do you think of
? I enjoyed it, but it wasn't what I expected from reading the blurb.
literally just finished it about 30 mins ago, it was okay but not as good as I thought it was going to be, he turned into a very wet blanket pretty much after the first 20 minutes! I thought he was going to be a hot alpha douche all the way through ......not happy that he actually has *feelings*
Ditto what V said! I think I may have had the bar set a bit too high going in... I didn't see the appeal with Ali and I couldn't feel any chemistry between the two. It was probably the least erotic erotica book ever.
V Audio Nerd wrote: "Yeah but she did have stars in her eyes and a cascading waterfall of red hair .....bleurh"I bet her star eyes looked stupid.
Dontcha hate it when a starry-eyed redhead converts a perfectly good alpha douche into a pussy...cat?
Gonna start this one tonight I think, but it is nearly midnight so I'll probably only get about 20 mins in before falling asleep lol
I don't know when I'll get to this. Still on page 25 of my first 300+ page BR. Please hide the good stuff in spoilers, and I'll catch up as soon as I can.
I forget Lou - Do you do audio?V - I'm finishing up Let Me Go and can start This one next. Where are you putting it on the B challenges? I haven't looked up this one yet.
Kristin ~ Experiment in Terror Junkie wrote: "I forget Lou - Do you do audio?"Not well. Either I fall asleep or I hate the narrator's voice.
I'm only on Chapter 4 of 33 but am all ready enjoying it way more than Taint. Nick Russo is awesome narrator... Loving Mackey and Grant...
V - I ended up using this book towards the "Guess Who" challenge - about a musician or character who plays the piano (around line #233 on the worksheet)
It looks like I'm going to need to take a bit of a detour to break a teammate out of jail for CTF... LOL! V - You'll be happy to hear that the good news is that I'll be reading Unteachable to do it.
I'll be back as soon as I can... I am about 1/3 into Beneath the Stain.
I was happy to find it on her list bc I was planning to read Unteachable this month anyway. It's kind of a free day today so I'm hoping to get a lot of reading in. **fingers crossed**
Have you started this one yet?
Yes I strated it again today so I'm only about an hour in, I'm liking it so far, the narrator is good, loving Grants voice!!

In a town as small as Tyson, CA, everybody knew the four brothers with the four different fathers-- and their penchant for making good music when they weren't getting into trouble. For Mackey Sanders, playing in Outbreak Monkey with his brothers and their friends—especially Grant Adams--made Tyson bearable. But Grant has plans for getting Mackey and the Sanders boys out of Tyson, even if that means staying behind.
Between the heartbreak of leaving Grant and the terrifying, glamorous life of rock stardom, Mackey is adrift and sinking fast. When he's hit rock bottom, Trav Ford shows up, courtesy of their record company and a producer who wants to see what Mackey can do if he doesn't flame out first. But cleaning up his act means coming clean about Grant, and that's not easy to do or say. Mackey might make it with Trav's help--but Trav's not sure he's going to survive falling in love with Mackey.
Mackey James Sanders comes with a whole lot of messy, painful baggage, and law-and-order Trav doesn't do messy or painful. And just when Trav thinks they may have mastered every demon in Mackey's past, the biggest, baddest demon of all comes knocking.
