For those who have not seen, "75 New Historical Romances—from Dukes to Cowboys" a list from GoodReads

Is anyone watching The Gilded Age? It's definitely becoming a favorite for me.

I would like to watch but haven’t started it. Might wait until it’s entirely released.
Sanditon was an unfinished novel, so most of the series is not from JA’s story.

I intend on starting soon!
About Sanditon, I've read this one is one of the better adaptations of the unfinished JA´s novel. I loved the 1st season, despite the male character not being my most favorite actor (Theo James), so I´m ok with he not appearing in the 2nd season ;)

LOL. I prefer bing- watching as well. Out of curiosity... which book was ur fav in the series?

Again, if you do not know the identity of Lady Whistledown, do not watch the teaser. At least, stop at the 45 second mark.

Thanks for sharing, Missy. I'm looking forward to the series :)

I understand that it has been renewed for a 2nd season.

@lauren I'm going to have try Belgravia - sounds like I've been missing out.
I'm also going to have to try Sanditon as well.
Also, new season of Outlander will be here soon ! Too excited for words!!!!!
I'm even excited about Brigerton even without Rege-jean Page :(
March is going to be a good month for book adaptions!

It´s so annoying that there is so few storic adaptations in the streaming channels in Portugal. We have to wait a long time for Outlander new series to be release, Sanditon, Poldark, Belgravia there not on streaming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's my favourite Bridgerton book too, followed by Hyacinth and Gregory's.

ahh... the enemies to lovers trope. I was shocked I didn't like it more. Some of Anthony's lines just didn't sit well with me, but I did enjoy it by the end. Thanx 4 sharing. I was just curious. 😁

Nice! Ya know... I still need to read that one. My fav (so far) was

Kelly, mine too! And the first one because it got me (re)started in this genre, so it will always have a special place in my heart!! ;)
Lauren, it depends, the new series and Netflix originals like Bridgerton usually premieres at the same time here and in US, but old series like Poldark, Sanditon don't stream here :(, I think it's because of the subtitles, they have to do it for old series, so they prioritise the new ones and not the old ones. About Outlander usually takes some months to be released here on Netflix, I think it's because that it's a Starz(?) original, so, it takes some time to Netflix has the rights to show the serie, but also happens with "When Calls the Heart". I think that Netflix and Amazon don't have great feedback on historical series in Portugal, so they don't haste time releasing old series :(.

i liked that one. it was a sweet one.

i concur, b/c amand quick is jayne ann krentz pen name her historicals have a mystery subplot which are engaging. great characters too.

I third the recommendations for Amanda Quick.
I also suggest Lisa Kleypas's Bow Street Runners series, Stephanie Laurens' Bastion Club and Black Cobra series (I think the first 6 Cynster books also have mysteries), Grace Callaway and Kerrigan Byrne also have mystery subplots.

That last image you shared brings to mind the 1995 Pride & Prejudice scene after Darcy takes a swim.

I'm also going to have try watching Sanditon. I don't know this JA book so the show will be interesting and fresh.
I'm just happy that my Outlander is back today!!! I have Starz just for this show. I'm also enjoying, The Gilded Cage. It soo well done!

The best Highlander I loved was my dad. Unfortunately I lost him when I was 20. This is probably why I love a highlander book 📕 🗡

I'm a fan of the Hindi actor Shahrukh Khan and his Bollywood movies, so I am excited to hear the cover for Kabhi Kushi Khabhie Gham!

I love a good highlander book too. Sorry to hear you lost your dad so young, Shaz.

The Scottish Highlands have some lovely scenery and villages.
