I'd go for Daughter of Smoke and Bone or So Yesterday: both YA, both definitely 5 stars, but very different.

If you don't find an antihero book that grabs you, then the second-best thing might be something short. Watchmen is a graphic novel. I gave it 3 stars, but it will only take you a few hours. Check out my review if you think you might consider it.

The only other things I see are classics, like Atlas Shrugged (huge) and Catch-22 and recent things I bet you've read, like Gone Girl and The Knife of Never Letting Go. But those were all only 4 stars for me. I also second Bea's suggestion of trying something by Tana French; they all seem to be on the list, and each was a 4* for me.

Thank you, Susan...

I've been eyeing Daughter of Smoke & Bone but not really feeling the vibe there. So Yesterday looks good though, sound like it might be funny -I might see if I can source that.

I've read Watchmen (was okay), Gone Girl (hated it with a passion), & Catch-22. I'm not up to the huge-ness of Atlas... BUT I do have The Knife of Never Letting Go (got it signed too!), didn't even see this one on the shelf!

2 more options to consider, thank you, lovely lady :)

Oooh... and we've got Coralie and LynnB head to head...

Each have got Brick sized book to read plus one other average size book (assuming about 300+ pages)

I'm very excited!

Karen (karenofthebookworm) Aargh. Profusion of Pages again, I've had this three times now and each time I get a different number of pages. So far I've had f, b,and now a, no doubt by the time I finish this challenge I'll have had c,d, and e as well.
