what happened i was enjoying the story thinking that at the end it will end with grey realizing his ego and finally a marriage or a real relationship but knowing that she just goes away i decided not to read the book (later someone told me its a series)

I hated the first book with a passion, but loved the ending. She finally told him what she thought of him and I punched the air with delight. I can understand why she's called Anaesthesia on the internet and I wondered if she'd ever regain consciousness. I was so delighted that she woke up on the last page. Couldn't bear to read the next two books in case she went into a coma again. Unfortunately, I heard she did.

I imagine the story will never be over.....22 more books, probably. Terrible writing but selling vast numbers.

A happy ending......would be the author donating piles of money to charity and taking up.....maybe golf?

I hate putting any author down or saying bad things, but the writing was a bit immature for me. Ironically I got to page 50 on the first book and never read any more. And to be honest the film was just as bad.
