The second in a series of books about the Waverley women who live in a small town in North Carolina and who are -- not witches, but -- I'd say enchanted. Each of them has a particular gift. And there's a magic apple tree in the back yard. I know that sounds silly but I kind of fell in love with this family and the unusual town of Bascom. I decided to read the first book in the series, Garden Spells, before I read this one, and I'm glad I did so that I already knew the characters and their backstory. In a nutshell, I enjoyed this book much more than I expected and I hope installment #3 comes along soon!
