First and foremost, welcome to D.E.A.R. This is just another book-club: dull and cliché, but we have a lots to offer you.

★ Books Of The Month (BOTM)
Each month, members are awarded with the liberty to choose the book they want to read. We read the following genres:
~Adventure
~Young-adult
~Dystopia
~Classics
~Crime
~Mystery/ Thrillers
~Suspense
~Magic

Every time, about the month is dedicated to nominate books. Though generally it takes place on the 15th of each month, the date can vary. The next half is devoted to vote on the books. The rest of the month will be utilized by setting up a poll, and permitting the members to vote for the book they desire to read. The two books which come on the top are taken as group reads. This way, we intend to let the members choose books according to their demands. However, if any malpractice is noticed, the books can be decided by the moderators. To know more, click here.

★ Buddy Reads
D.E.A.R also provides opportunities to read books with friends. If you'd like to read a book with another person, and isn't a BOTM, you can always request for a person to read the book with you. Though we cannot guarantee that you will find a partner, requesting in advance might help.

As a part of the procedure, after you find a partner, let a moderator know about it. The moderator will then put up a topic where you can discuss and plan how the reading should go on.

★Games
We have a number of games to entertain you. Here is the link to the folder.

★Group messages
In order to avoid cluttering our members' inbox, we limit ourselves to broadcasting only two messages per month. The first one will be sent at the beginning of the month, including the winner of the BOTM Poll, BOTM Suggestions, and any sort of announcement if necessary. The second will be sent after half the month is over to announce the closure of the BOTM Suggestions, and requesting you to vote in the BOTM Polls.

Yes, we were having the October BOTM Suggestions in September. We had a poll from the 15th of the month till yesterday. The November BOTM Suggestions will be opened later today.
