Nicole I haven't seen the tv series, but I have spoken to people that have & they really enjoy it, although they have no idea what's going on!
Really looking forward to this one, I hope I like it!

Keri I'll be reading this trilogy as well! I have all the episodes recording but don't plan to watch until after I've read all the books. Very excited for these weeks!

Nicole If I enjoy the books, I'll get on to the TV series as well! When the people from work complain that they have no idea what's happening, I'll be able to laugh & say "I do!" Hehehe

Biana This is the book that I picked for the trilogy weeks based on a recommend from a co-worker. I completely enjoyed the first book! It was a standard mystery...something is off about our main character's situation but it's not really apparent what it is. The twist...didn't see that coming!

Happy reading!

Keri I just started this book over the weekend and I am about half way through it. I can't wait to see how it all comes together. I keep making guesses and think what in the world does someone do in this situation??? I always love books like this!

Keri Does anyone know if the TV series cover just the first book or some of the second as well?

Sophie (sawphie) Thanks to you I'm really curious about this book and want to read it like NOW! (Yes I'm a very curious person). But I'm going to try and wait for my holidays in the end of September, I'm sure this will keep me occupied for the 12 hours flight :D

Kathi (kathijo) | 78 comments Also choosing this as my trilogy. I have not seen the tv series and don't plan to watch it! This was a free loan for Amazon Prime members so that helped in my decision!

Kathi (kathijo) | 78 comments I finished it in one sitting! It was an easy read but good and I couldn't put it down! Can't wait to read the next one.

Chelle_Rydz (chellerydz) LOVED LOVED LOVED this book. This is my kind of book. I was looking for a new author in the vein of James Rollins' old stand alone books and this looked like it would fit the bill. I had never heard of this book. Not the same but I got that vibe.
I watched the first episode of the TV show and was intrigued. I am so glad I bought the book.
I was pulled in right away and could not put this book down. i have not been this excited about a new author (for me) in a LONG time. The premise was great and I was enthralled the whole time. I guess you can say that I liked it ;)
I then sped through the next two. While they weren't as amazing to me, they were good.

I read another collection of his. I think the collection was called Fear. Snowbound, Abandon and Run. Each had it's own ...flavor. (I liked Snowbound the best) They were pretty good. Not like his Pines collection tho.
