Was there snow at the bus stop? Is that how you know it was winter? Were the kids wearing snowsuits?How did the children behave on the bus? Sitting nicely, or were there some antics going on?

Thanks Karen, I think I remember snow and snowsuits, yes. I don't remember much more than that, this was over 20 years ago :)

Snowbound With Betsy might have the kids lined up in snowsuits. Other books could have winter scenes.

I remember there were a good number of kids in the stories, also elementary school aged, maybe about 10 main characters, with simple names like Jane and Billy (although those may not be the actual names).
It seemed like an older book to me at the time because of the language - just a little antiquated. So maybe written mid century? This is coming from my 4th grade brain so that could be wrong.
I can't remember much but I do remember something about a bus stop in the winter, or riding the bus. This was only one of the chapters so I'm sure there are many other stories within the book. I hope you guys can help me find it, this has been plaguing me for years!
