Julie | 14 comments I read this book when I was in Elementary school, so about 1992-1995. It was a larger size print book in the school library. It was a picture book aimed at 2nd-4th grade reading level.

I can't remember much but I do remember the goose was kind of silly, she wore clothes, and there was a specific 'chapter" or section about her doing different exercises. I think the book title had the gooses' name in it but I can't remember what the name is! It's not Mother Goose and it's not Jemima Puddleduck.

Adele | 1435 comments Well, there's The Very First Lucy Goose Book. There is no picture on Goodreads, but on Amazon you can see the cover. She does not appear to wear clothes, but she is exercising in one of the little pictures around the edge of the cover: http://www.amazon.com/Very-First-Lucy...

Julie | 14 comments SOLVED - after all these years I found the answer while browsing on Amazon. The book is Petunia - it was a 5-story collection written in the 50s by Roger Duvoisin. I'm still looking for the actual collection but this is the goose I so fondly remember!
