Personality: She is a tad too quiet and will mumbled out her answers if someone asks her a question. Even though she really wants to get over this habit, she just can't seem to get rid of it. Sometimes she really can't help but give out one word answers and it bugs her. Later on in the day she would imagine how things could've gone if she had answered this way or that.
If she sees anyone getting picked on, she will come to their rescue and tell the bullies to 'Bug off Bozo!'. Funny and sarcastic have been what kept her from being picked on at school. She's kind of like Lucy Carlyle, in a way (read Lockwood and Co). She will tell you if you're annoying or you're just plain rude.
History: Avery was sent to this academy in the hopes of earning herself a good occupation. When she was told that there were Houses that the students were sorted into, she felt like she was in Hogwarts. She chose the Jewel House cause she felt that was where she belonged most in. She hasn't made any friends since she came to the academy but hopes to have at least one in the future. When her friends back home couldn't go with her, she was devastated.

She would hear them shouting from her room and would cry herself to sleep. After only 2 months after her sister’s death, her parent started spending less time with each other and they could not eat one dinner without them fighting. She would just hide her face in her hands and cry wondering what poppy would do if she was still here. Crystal loved her family: she loved her father’s clumsy efforts at a barbeque and then deciding that no one can eat this burnt food and ordering a takeout, she loved her mums obsessive cleaning and how she would read her a book and plait her and poppy’s hair pretending to be film star.
They declared their divorce only 4 days before her birthday, December 6th was her worst day after the death of her sister. She did not cry knowing she already done her fair share. She promised she would not cry and stay strong. There was a massive fight over who would look after her. Eventually, her mother got the rights to look after her. She was dragged away from her father shouting and kicking .She saw her dad’s sad and creased face, as she was yanked away. She felt like she lost part of her, first her sister and now her father. She would not talk to her mother at all and glared at her. She ran away once and got to her father’s so they said she could go to him every weekend. Her mother got married Mark Wilson, extraordinaire photographer at the renowned fashion company. She tried to hate him but he was so sweet and kind to her. He taught her how to take amazing photographs and got her interested in football. She eventually after his help joined the soccer club.
When she started high school, she changed her behaviour and attitude and became friends with popular girl in the school and the means to be friends with them are not so good. She became known as the ice queen. The only time she presented her true self was on the soccer field where she scored amazing goals and raised her team to the nationals and in art where she reflected her feeling.She could be called a cruel captain due to her only accepting best players.

Her parents had adopted her when she was but a babe in an orphanage and they took her in. They loved her and cherished her as their own but other parents kept their children away from her. She was shy and didn't like talking to other children that quickly and it was that timidness that was misinterpreted for purposeful rebelliousness. The 'I'm Too Cool For School' attitude. But worst of all, it was as if she had no connection in the world. No birth records, no parents, only a name written on a card reading 'Marina'. Marina was her true name. But her parents ignored that. They ignored that slip of paper, but they didn't ignore it either. And when Layla found that slip of paper was when she decided that she didn't want their mediocre lifestyle. Forever stuck in a small town with a small life and leaving but the slightest scratch of a mark on the world once she died. She used her impressive academic talent to apply for a scholarship at Lakewood.

Avery is a short female. She has a slight hourglass figure and is at a height of 5'3 and what she lacks in being tall she makes up for strength, both physically and mentally. Avery prides herself in how long her hair is, the very tips ending at her hips. Her hair is an array of different shades, you'll find dark ginger, orban, dirty blond and brown in some parts. When in the sun, her hair looks like the purest golden and in the water or when wet, the deepest brown. However, Avery's hair is somewhat normally straight. She has quite pale skin, although it is not ghostly white. If you looked at the skin colour on its own, it'd be perceived as quite a healthy colour. But with others, you'd see it's rather pale compared to them. Avery has attractive eyes (according to herself after looking at them in a mirror for a rather long time) and you'll find if you look close enough that it's a sea of light hazel, light brown which are both mixed in with darker brown lines and a soft thin blue line around the outside. (though, through the extended amount of time she has been looking a them, she has located two light, almost golden flecks of colour in her left eye which are placed close to one another.)
Avery doesn't have a left arm, which was lost when a robbery took place at night, in which one of the robbers in her house had shot her arm off at the shoulder instead of her head. In the arm's place is a robotic prosthetic which controls like a normal arm and hand would, as it also has pads on the hand of the fake arm to Avery can still feel. After modding, the arm has become water-proof and a permanent part of her body unless removed with force, and the arm itself starts at the shoulder were the original came off.

She is energetic, prolific, open-minded and once she finds something that really appeals to her, she'll do it quite a bit. She is also versatile. This versatility may cause her to wear herself out because she might try to do too much too frequently. She need to learn to limit themselves to create a balance. Though she is a born communicator. She love active conversations on just about any topic you can imagine. She does however have to be careful not to monopolize the conversation. It is all too easy for her to do so. Avery may be conflicted about certain things due to her nature. While she want to be earthy and stable, she is drawn to towards more unstable, frenetic behavior. Avery may not be sensitive to the feelings of others. While she can spend hours debating over their own emotional matters, she might appear rather unsympathetic or detached. She is prone to burning out, both physically and mentally an if she can learn self-discipline, they will be more successful. Rosie's strengths are their stability, intellectual and conversational skills and her perseverance it'll help her. She is good at analyzing challenging ideas and have the ability to communicate those ideas to others. Broadminded and hardworking, she is also expressive, energetic, charming, intelligent, adaptable, practical, mature, gentle, quiet, stable, restless, blunt, scattered, nervous, over-indulgent and changeable. She can get jealous easily. Avery constantly needs to feed her hunger for intelligence or be activity doing something as to not let her mind wonder, as she has a very creative imagination and thinks about death and growing old often otherwise, which scares her. She also hates deep waters, extremely high heights or the pitch black when alone. However, she puts up a wall and acts tougher than she really is, and once she has the walls up it's extremely hard to get her to dismantle them. Avery also likes to be the boss of things, and if someone else is in charge she can become very picky and frustrating to work with if something doesn't go according to plan. She often threats about small things, making a big deal of things while with bigger things, she seems to manage an eerily calm and collective approach towards the situation.
If you manage to get past all her flaws, you won't regret having her as a friend. Also being expressive and quick-witted, she can be sociable, communicative and ready for fun, while on the other hand can be very serious, thoughtful and restless. Avery can get fascinated by almost everything in the world and she has feelings as if there is not enough time to experience everything she wants to see. However, she can be powerful in her mind, and stubbornness is a trait that is forcing her to expel things to the end, in order to comply with others. Or in the end she never gets rid of it, just to spite others, even if it harms herself. While one side of her loves to have spontaneous fun, the other half tries to plan it before hand which really doesn't work. This is why she is often restless among other things. Avery adores a meaningful relationship and itt doesn't matter if it's friendship, relationship or just a mutual communication, she takes it all into account and anyone within the circle of her relationship she's more than willing to help. Giving her time to her most close friends to the furthest away stranger, even if she is sometimes disregarding of people's emotions. She can be extremely sarcastic, and often lets her emotions out to other people though jokes and the sarcasm. Avery doesn't know how to deal with people who are angry and is frustrated when people are upset and don't head her warnings and her efforts of comfort. Avery is also a lot more intelligent than she lets on, and if you think you got away with something to do with her, you properly haven't and she just lets it slide or ignores it. Avery can also become bored very easily.

Avery grew up in a small town in Britain on the back of some old country lanes. It had always been quiet and everyday she would get up early to get into a train that would take her to her school. Even though Avery loved everything around her, school was boring for her and every time she came home it was almost painful to just repeat the actions she had done already. Her parents were always working, but that's not to say that they didn't love her. He little sister was the only close friend she had at the time, and they were mean to one another at times, yes, but always responsible.
School was not only boring, but also felt like hell. The classes were too simple or too complex, everyone around her was boring and even though she had a few distant friends, loneliness was a massive part of her life growing up. Even though Avery had made very good memories, like learning how to ride a horse or accidentally burning down half a field, nothing could of prepared her for when the robbers came.
Her town was small and safe. So no one was scared of what could happen and no one had sleepless nights. That was when three robbers came to her house, it been secluded from the rest and hard to see if anything happened, and of course both of her parents were out working to keep the roof over their heads. Avery and a little sister were caught, while trying to get out of the house.When an older man told a younger one to kill both of them, when the two others left, he had shot her sister in the head and missed, shooting her in the shoulder instead and lit the house on fire. The event was very traumatic for her and is still on the way to recovering mentally. After she recovered physically, Avery had applied to Lakewood in hope to help her parents, start fresh and not be so alone.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤOTHERAvery can still get phantom pains in her arms, nightmares and not so often night terrors, but other than that life is going well. Avery was put into Wallflower not because she had no talents, but because she fitted into two or more houses and they couldn't pinpoint were she would be. While Avery loves singing and can play violin, she is also somewhat intelligent and also won't every stop fighting for what she believes in. She cares about people and will always give up time for someone in need. Avery also loves cats and when she was born her parents already had cats, so she grew up around them. Avery often doesn't know her own strength, which is why she sometimes holds herself back from fights so the other person can live with teeth. Avery also has three black cats, one female around four years old with short fur and back legs, and two brothers, around the same age of two. While one has long fur, the other has short but very smooth fur and is fragile while the other is more jumpy. The female cat is more or less grumpy and a little plump, but loves to play like the other two.

Tohru has such a sweet personality that people can't help but be drawn to it. She always wants to help people, despite her own troubles, and wants to do everything in her power to make sure that person smiles or laughs.
She doesn't want people to be concerned over her and tries not to show that she's really a sobbing mess half the time. So no one even suspects that Tohru is actually sad though covers it up with her sweetness and kindness towards other people.
Oh! And I forgot to mention that she can also be a blushy mess half the time. Especially when it's caused by a boy. And if you ask her to do anything for you, she'll gladly do it with no complaints.
History:
Tohru's mother died just recently so her grandfather, her only available guardian, sent her to this school. Of course, she had tests to see if it was possible if she could enter into the school, but she passed them flawlessly.
Tohru and her mother were fairly close and loved one another like any mother and daughter would do. Tohru sometimes wonders if there was anything she could've done to stop the car accident but then realizes it's stupid to think about such things. Her father died when she was just a baby so she never knew him. It was only her and her mother for quite some time. Now, she's all alone.
So she goes through school day by day, wanting to make her mother proud in graduating and never wanting to get a bad grade. If she does, well, she turns out to be her non-happy self when that happens.
Tohru hasn't made that many friends though occasionally someone will just randomly wave to her, mostly because of how sweet and cute she treats everyone but she doesn't know that.
So here she is, placed in fifth year of the academy with nothing her feet to keep her going. (Man, that sounds cheesy. XD)
Oh! I almost forgot! She also can be a huge blushy mess half the time. Especially when it's a guy who's causing it. She also loves to help clean so if anyone asks her to do anything for them, she'll blindly do it.
