So they have an agreement with each other the benefits each. The Styrs happens once a year, when the tribes meet. The resulting male children are sent to the Gargareans, and the Amazons keep the girls. Even with the two tribes almost constantly at war, the Styrs is sacred and important and is always followed to the letter.
